Because when we assume that sonia is town that leaves us 3 scum in mimi/blackstar/tier/vedith and and we have a town death in pocket cause ~mylo~. This means that if we lynch scum today and hit town with the vigilante we have 2 scum in a pile of 2 people.

like the chances of us hitting 3 scum in a row in a pool of 6 are 50% x 40% x 25% which is a 5% chance.
