Your "evidence" is so wrong I don't even know where to begin. Scum asks two other players to hammer without reading. Conclusion? They're his scum buddies! Jesus fuck, it's so wrong I just want to curl up into fetal position and let someone else explain why it is so wrong.

And this is the discussion we should have had earlier, soon after the flip and evidence Eli could be horrible town with a setup by scum.
@Sugar Cain, if there's nothing else to use, I will use meta. I just don't like to.

I did discuss it earlier. You ignored my perfectly logical post about it, that others agree with, and instead entertained whatever it is you're doing.
It's not inconceivable that one of them is scum, but very unlikely both are. They are both players chesskid knows (Dan especially) and reaching out in that way to them is not odd, but he'd be unlikely to do it if all three were scum.

I'm still reading through the game, but I stopped for a break. I decided to check the last couple of pages with regards to Elli. I have seen Elli's posts in isolation. I have seen nothing to suggest this slot is helping the town in any significant way, nor do I find anything in Elli's behavior that would suggest he's secretly town or anything in that regard. Although I wouldn't say I have a quantifiable scumread on Elli, I would say that I don't have a townread on him. That's not a cop out; that's just the truth. He is objectively anti-town though. Further, The wagon is composed of a great many of my strong townreads. I would like to get my gigantic 100 page catchup post up for y'all, but I see no fundamental reason why this lynch shouldn't go through. In a game this large especially, there is no reason to be particularly picky about lynching specific players. If you're not helping the town, then you're subject to being lynched. I would arguably include myself in that mix too (assuming I were approaching this game from another player's point of view, of course). I'm a pragmatist as town if nothing else.
tl;dr = If a wagon checks most of the boxes, even if I am not fully caught up for everyone yet or haven't really been able to have my unique say, I'm happy to oblige it.

Intent to hammer if claim is bad. I basically agree with RC's thoughts on this one, so that moves him significantly more towards being town for your information Amrun.

Interesting to note, however: Neither of you had any part in the discussion. May I ask how you came across the discussion?
I read way more than I post in the mafia discussion forum. In that particular instance, the topic was of interest to me because about that time I was playing an ungodly long newbie game and someone replaced into it at the start of day 2. He asked for a summary and I did a sort of conversational mode Q&A rather than a wall. It turned out to be a good way for us both to develop reads. There may be something to Mara's summary tell, but it's more nuanced than summary = scummy. The fact that it was the summary with the flowery turns of phrase and narrative style that pinged for her in this game probably says something about how she thinks about the tell, herself.
Of course there is? there aren't any tells that are black and white, though I just missed Thor's summary. Him and toogers are definitely not scum together though their separate summaries each have things in them that kinda bother me.
Pedit: I really, really do not like this Elli lynch

Why not? He hasn't done anything particularly pro-town.

I think it's just the ones he disagrees with. He was hard wagoning earlier in the day when I first caught up.

Heck, I'm pretty sure that's still the basis of his scum read on me.
Thor broke his wagons of choice and ran off giggling (manfully).

Nero did like the Elli wagon earlier and I didn't oppose, though that was before you became the main pusher of that wagon
and no, that isn't the basis of our scum read on you but it is a pretty good addition to what I had stated earlier. I really, really do not see the town-motivation of following ones scum-read

Actually I would too.
Why the fuck did metal sonic just claim?
Posted: Thu Aug 08, 2013 6:21 pm

Still lynchable.
Why does it matter considering what he claimed?
Most of the game is currently claiming Vanilla Town.

I don't recall anyone claiming vanilla town, actually.
