First, there is no such thing as a "good random vote." Random votes suck and should be done away with to as great extent as possible.

Second, do you plan on actually launching future discussion about item X or do you plan on just talking about launching future discussion about item X?

Assuming item X is my move to reveal meta of LHNM, than I'd be taking discussion forward based on discussion of how I did it.

And, well, yeah, random votes do stink, I suppose. but they're the best we've got.

Are they? Your own "random" vote wasn't too random. My vote definitely isn't random, though the suspicions it's build upon are flimsy - but that's to be expected at this point. Not sure why you're defending the "necessity" of random votes when there is already other material on hand to help guide us.

From the looks of it everyone was very eager to sign up, now some people aint talking so quickly as they signed up. I know they could be busy but then again they could be keeping quiet for now, just telling town to be aware of this.

Anyway I'm going to vote for the most suspicious person as the day progresses. In the past, I've tried to get the hardest lynch on who I personally thought was scum, but this had mixed results. So this game, openness and honesty!! Yay!

Wasser: He did, but that has no bearing on the fact that he was partially excusing his vote as "random" (and yet somehow having a reason behind the randomness but it still remains random?), but that sort of clashes with the fact that pure randomness is not all we have for our use in determining who to vote (even at this stage) as demonstrated precisely by his vote. It's just a weird situation: "I'm randomly voting Player Y because of these reasons, but this vote is still random and you can't blame me because all we can do is randomly vote at this time!" ...Uh, what?

Right... becuase anyone lurking in the first two pages of a game is obvious scum! At least give the game a bit of time to start before you start trying to focus on the less active people...

You're right, I'd prefer pointing at them so they actually post though. No harm in it right? Its been Monday + St Pats day is tomorrow so it aint too serious about people not posting yet, just something to throw into the mix.

Well where else is there to go for now, its something to work off going into the game and I feel quite sure enough of how I behave further on to make this action. FoS is just so people consider it, to bring it to their attention, read post above for elaboration.
