Faraday, I know you called Jase town, but thoughts on the miller claim itself?

I'll stop spamming the thread, now, because Equinox as well as anyone else trying to catch up will kill me.

You mean the acutal manner he went about it? Poor, but largely irrelevant. If you mean his character then I think it fits. why'd you not ask him for flavour straight away?

p.s. you seem a little edgy. why?

“On then, to Eleven O’clock, and the island of Jibarish. This is truly a place of paradoxes. Though most of the island is bare rock, there is a curious mutability in the air here. You look away for a moment and that rock, which seemed so solid a moment ago, seems to have flowed into some new configuration. It’s easy to become lost here, though the island isn’t large; no path remains in the same place for long.

“A tribe of women has traditionally occupied Jibarish, and it is their appetite for making the island unpalatable for visitors - especially male visitors—that is largely responsible for the protean nature of the landscape. Over the centuries these extraordinary women have caused the elements of Jibarish to defy the laws by which those elements conventionally live. Rock is fluid here; fire burns cold; water is like iron; and the air— which we expect to serve our needs invisibly—is here a sovereign power in its own right. The very name of the island is derived from the means by which the air continues to alter the very words a visitor may speak, turning sense into nonsense or ‘jibberish.’

Don't like the "self-vote" thing mainly because I know I've used it before as scum and I think I've seen it from scum before.

Vote: Indecision

Haven't read the posts under that but pretty sure Faraday's town as fuck.

Also, Tim, I got a town PM, so we're going to win. No need to tunnel on me unless you want to be retarded.

Jase, paraphrase the PM.

I suppose I could just give you the gist of it.

Basically it seems to revolve around him seeming potentially evil/dangerous but him having a vested interest in keeping things balanced.

Just for clarity I say "miller" because my role is of course "Abraham etc etc." not "Miller" and nowhere does it say "You are a miller" but it does say everything it needs to in order for me to be a miller as you'd normally interpret it.

I just realized it doesn't even matter about the details. Didn't hito say something about scum having fakeclaims? I think it's in the rules somewhere unless I read it in another game.

Eh, it didn't work like that in MLP.

The gray votes in parens are votes that were present between the last VC and the current VC.

I like posting the ghosts because it makes my vote-counts "information complete" - that is, every vote cast is recorded, with no regard to how often I take VC's. Previously, I tried mixing the ghosts and normal votes by time. However, that proved to be annoying to copy-paste. This way, the ghosts are in the VC, but if you copy-paste you merely need to delete the parens if you don't want the ghosts.

Faraday: Mainly because I was enjoying the page one banter too much. And my initial instinct on his claim was town, I guess, so it didn't bother me that much right off the bat that his claim was vague? I'll admit my pressuring of him was sort of a perfunctory "Well, someone's claimed miller and didn't provide flavour; might as well force him to clarify" shot in the dark.

I'm not sure whether your last question was rhetorical, or what you mean by "edgy."

Jase: Does your PM explicitly say that any investigations on you will receive a guilty result?

Hinduragi: um, in case it wasn't obvious, my calling Faraday confirmed scum because
random.org always assigns him scum
was pretty tongue-in-cheek. How serious did you believe my and Faraday's votes on each other were?

Ah, I missed Jase's post with two votes so I thought you were implying he was a doublevoter.

I thought they were RVS-serious. Mine wasn't. And I know it was a joke, tongue-in-cheek, etc.

i mean edgy. off. nervous. and why would you possibly think my question was rhetorical?

It doesn't necessarily say exactly that but yes, any investigation of me will turn up guilty.

Faraday, what answer were you expecting beyond "I don't think I'm particularly edgy" or "thanks for your opinion"? I've been spamming up the thread, but at this point, I think my play has been completely null. I don't think I've posted anything I couldn't have said as either alignment.

Hinduragi, links to games when you've seen scum ask people to self-vote
because that is a terrible, horrible reason for a bandwagon hop that you should be ashamed of
?

Equinox also wants to know where your Faraday-town read came from if you didn't read beyond the self-vote post on page one.

I looked up posts of mine where I said might as well claim scum in the search and I was town in all of them. I'm not going to bother looking through every post of every game for one person to say it because I'm lazy and I've got a wiki for anyone who really wants to look it up. Anyways, I still think you guys are scum, and a lot of that is for going for Faraday instantly, calling it a joke, and then keeping your vote on him. Especially since I know you've both been in hydra's with him. The rest are nitpicky things kind of like the might as well claim scum thing coming out so early.

Faraday's town because of gut.

because that is a terrible, horrible reason for a bandwagon hop that you should be ashamed of?

...No. I'm not ashamed of anything except when I get myself lynched as town, have a wrong confirmed town read(hasn't happened so far, thank God), or make a game-losing decision as town.
