Now dang it, that was MY reasoning for voting for Quagmire in the first place! (Of course, it's been lost on the old forum...) Never mind there's even one more person in this game that knows CRiX from the other site. No fair using my own logic against me!

I dunno if it's even worth saying this, but I would just like to point out that I would guess that one of the people that knows me off-site is whatever the SK is in this game. because I would guess the mafs killed and then destroyed Sugar.. yeah.. so watch yourselves..

I don't think Sugar getting destroyed is the work of the mafia because:

- being able kill & then destroy that person in the same night seems very powerful & defeats most of the point of having ghosts in the first place
- rite's description of the 'ghost killer' doesn't scream out mafia to me ( sixty year old man with a strange contraption)

I think the old man is most likely working on his own, and probably has to target someone every night. She or he just got lucky and picked someone who was also killed that night.
---

In the interest of getting some discussion going:
Unvote: Electra
Vote: Dragon Pheonix

to bring him to 3 votes.

Unvote Dirge

Vote: Quagmire

1) His first post, where he went and stated that he figured there was probably maybe an SK in the game. I thought that pretty obvious.
2) If he does know CRiX from another site, then maybe he killed him because of that. ::shrug::
3) He's a better bandwagon choice than massive or DP.

As for why Sugar was destroyed- I don't think the Mafia would have any destroying capability- and certainly they shouldn't be able to destroy anyone they kill. It's possible the SK has the destroying powerful as a sort of boost, because SKs are nearly impossible to win with.

Or it's possible that CRiX destroyed Sugar, but is lying about it for some reason. Or there may be another role who is essentially the same as his.

Why am I a better target for bandwagoning than massive or DP? Is it because it's my first game on mafiascum?

Yeah, that's not evidence against me, but oh well. This is day one. Kill me if you want, this is probably the best you're going to get on Day one.

I'm saying that Electra's Evidence against me isn't all that compellingly "proof". BUt, if you want to lynch me, go ahead; it's all you're going to get in day one. :/

I bet that Quagmire is just a townie. No certainty, gut feeling based on his posts.

I'm sticking with Polotet for the moment.

I am going to keep my vote on massive because this statement. massive may be hoping that his statement will "uncover" mafia motive and cast suspicion on those who have played with Sugar. Before suspicion is cast on himself.

Due to slow posting, we're going to place a deadline-- Wednesday, Noon EST. Lynch must occur by that point, or no lynch occurs. If conversation significantly picks up by that point, the deadline will be extended or droped.

Vote Count:

Dragon Phoenix (3): Ningal, Polotet, CurtainDog
Quagmire (3): massive, Dourgrim, Electra
massive (1): Dirge
Polotet (1): DP
mneme(1): Quagmire

Edit: PMs sent to mneme and polotet to ascertain their existence. If there's no response, this mod will resort to e-mail. Both are experienced players, so chances are they just forgot about the game, or haven't been on the computer.

Dirge: There wasn't anything suspicious about my admiration of Sugar ... we've been Mafia together in the past under less-than-spectacular circumstances and I think she's a good player. Nothing more, nothing less.

Besides, if I was going to off experienced players, I'd start with DP or Polotet, and then probably you, before I got to Sugar. =]

Interesting point - as offing experienced players is often tried during the day (docs tend to protect 'names' the first night). Seeing that I have already collected 3 votes whereas everyone is reluctant to vote Polotet (except me), I bet that at least one of those voting for me is mafia.

Assuming there are three mafia in this game,
any random group
of 3 individuals is likely to contain a maf. Not having played with DP before I'm not sure if he's deliberately trying to obfuscate the issue.

While I do agree that in general it is easier to lynch non-scum, the miniwagon currently on DP has been pretty darn slow as it is.

Anyhow, just my 2 cents.

Well, nobody's posting. I'll post and
vote Dragon Phoenix
because he's an apparently experienced player, and I have this sneaking suspicion that he's Mafia.

NOthing personal.Just....voting....and posting, which hasn't been very common on this game.

I haven't, unfortunately, got all that much to say now, except that I'm waving the "I agree with CurtainDog" flag, and my vote is staying where it is.

Awkward.

This puts me within 2 votes of the lynch, and I don't want to wait until close to the deadline.

Well done, all those who voted for me. You have forced me to reveal that
I am the cop
.

I investigated Quagmire night 1 and found him/her innocent. That's why I did not vote for him/her (the 'gut feeling' rubbish in my post was there to mislead the mafia).

I'm sticking to Polotet.

Hmmm... if DP was scum he wouldn't be trying to clear Quaqmire, who is the next likeliest candidate for lynching. Unless Quaqmire was also scum that is ... but unless someone provides info that contradicts DP I'll believe him for now.

Unvote: DP
Vote: massive

I tend to agree with Dirge, and while its not a particularly strong suspicion, its the only one I got at the moment.

Any word on our absent players?

Anyways,
unvote DP.

Vote mneme
because mneme hasn't posted yet. We should probably lynch someone who isn't responding. IE mneme.

It's obviouly very tempting to switch to your competitor in terms of number of votes. The fact that I announced it and
did not do it
should suffice.
