That's a serious stretch. For one thing, comedy is subjective. Is Gallagher funny? What about Carrot Top? While it would be funny if the scum was comprised of the Pope and Dick Cheney, I don't think you can jump to this conclusion until there is a scum flip.

I have to weigh in on this, even though I feel Yates said it perfectly. Comedians are comedians, regardless of how funny you feel they are. if they 'weren't funny' they couldn't be comedians, it's impossible. Your theory on the setup is solid enough, but since this is a game of comedians from around the world for all we know nationality plays into who is scum, not their lack of talent. We can't know until someone actually flips scum.

Furthermore, the 'when the laughter died' part of the title most likely refers to Jason's death in the third post... A comedy legend died, thus the laughter died with him.

Now all that being said, going after someone who is a 'mostly known as not being funny' comic makes perfect sense in this setup. But you'll need a hell of a lot more than just that PLUS an actual claim before it even starts to 'hold weight'.
