Representin' Team No Pressure, yo. The team does not abide these stressful sign-up procedures.

Yeah but I'm still confused. Are there really that many people that want to play this? I thought like 60 players slots was plenty, and I haven't seen any reason to believe there won't be enough space for almost everybody. I guess it's a "you had to be there" thing from last year, because it makes no sense to me.

zoraster is a drama monger. there is no benefit. he is the type of guy who would run a nightclub and keep a massive line outside with 25 people inside for the sake of image.

i think there was 5 or so more teams who wanted /in than actual slots.
Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

More than 16 teams requested QTs. Please do try to keep up dear.

I don't agree. I think that more interested teams were likely to take more precautions/have more people ready to /in exactly on time. If anything I worry that specific timezones might have been disadvantaged, but given that more people want game slots than exist game slots, this was probably the best way to do it. A random lottery doesn't weight by how much people care, and it's nice if that can get injected in a bit?

Zoraster does love to build excitement even through artificial means. However, this actually serves a purpose. Even if you think it's just random, if you have all 4 people on your team doing it, then you will have had a much greater chance at getting in than if you had only 1. As the willingness to be online and spammy or whatever is at least some (albeit fairly shallow) indication of interest, it serves a purpose greater than simply randomizing it.

That said, there was no person who submitted a PM at 15:00 who didn't get in, and at least one who did at 15:01.

Anyway, no more PMs needed. Going through and checking to make sure I got everything right before posting.

Wait so if a team gets in the whole team gets in right? I'm still confused.

I guess I'll just wait to see what happens.

no? The only person who got priority was SDC, the defending champions. And yes, one person PMs, everyone gets in.

no, when you're splitting entries by a matter of seconds, it is basically random. pick teams randomly next time so i don't have to be online when i didn't want to be.
