This is patently absurd, even more so when this game is set up for the one guaranteed mislynch to be there. Let's take it as a given that we're not lynching Seanald; where would you go from there, serrapaladin?

Not loving -L- bouncing in without knowing what's going on, but apparently it's not uncommon for people to sign up for special mechanic games with no idea of the features from what I've seen. So, alignment neutral for now.

Seanald, what makes you think someone on the Master Mew wagon is scum at this point?

you dont get a speed wagon of 3 votes rapid fire and none of them are scum.

I REST MY CASE, I picked it good.

Seanald, you're confirmed town, but I still like you give your reasons. We can use your read as preferences.

I think your accusation really really really full of angry emotion. And I can't believe you because of that.

Maybe my sensitivity is dialed way down right now, but Seanald's post doesn't read as overly angry. A bit confirmation-biasy, but I'm more reading glee there than anger.

Why is it irrelevant to question someone (serrapaladin) who's put a vote down on the confirmed townie (not good for scum-hunting) when we don't need that spot X'ed out to save the game at present? I see it as a waste of a vote, which is anti-town, if not downright scummy.

And you'll note that -L- came in voting for someone in a non-strategic grid placement and seemed to be confused about the mechanics before being directed to read up on them, yet upon reading was uninspired to react to them beyond a fluff comment about this being a new set-up.

I suppose scum could be on the Master Mew wagon, but given that there are other motivations for such a wagon to build with the mechanics here, I wouldn't assume either way at this point. Not very insightful, I realize, but given that we're very much in the information-gathering time, I'm not seeing the scum advantage to hopping on a wagon just for the sake of running up the vote, especially in the first four posts of the game. Other reasons, yes.

Mitillos is town, because he stop the discussion of the tic-tac-toe tactic. Discuss it really helpful for scum.

Pro-town =/= Town.

If Mitillos understands the tactics well enough to disengage the discussion just before too much is said, then he probably understands the tactics well enough to not need to discuss them further in-thread if he is scum. He could be short-circuiting the Tic-Tac-Toe theory debate to grab towncred, since I honestly don't feel there was much risk of aiding the Mafia there, anyway. I doubt they'll need our help to determine the optimal nightkill.

My vote isn't random anymore. Discuss.

If your vote is no longer random, then what is it now based upon?

I feel that your designation of Mitillos as Town is premature, and your vote for Qwints entirely unsubstantiated - yet you claim it is substantive.

Keeping my vote parked on you for the time being, until you can explain your vote for Qwints and your townread on Mitillos.

Why if he is scum? If he is town he will stop it, therefor, he have town motivation for that. And the only one who have townread on him because of that only me, do you really believe that he tries to grab towncred?

The discussion will help scum. If you discuss, you got theory all over place and the scum can counter it. If he is scum, he will be like to hear your tactics. Let see who want to stop, only him. What do you think about that?

No, they need their optimal kill with our help also, because our lynch can help their wincon tic-tac-toe also. Will not discuss this.

Qwints want to continue the discussion. That is anti-town. I believe this can do by town who don't think of the setup and scum who want to hear town tactics. Therefor, my vote park on him.

No, my read on Mitillos stay. Why you want to impugn my read?

In other news, Mew is probtown.
@Serra: Seanald is confirmed town. Unvote him.
@Seanald: I don't think it's as simple as "wagon contains scum". This part of strategy is obvious, plus it was touched upon before, so I don't mind pointing it out; starting on a corner is optimal for player 1, as well as not touching the edges, if possible. And wagon-happy people happen in all alignments.

Well - I was thinking a similar thought because my never-lose strategy at tictactoe is to take three corners first.

Aren't scum more easily able to manipulate strategy when there are townies who don't understand what's going on?

True but by discussing our stratery it can give scum a slim advantage.

To be honest I don't understand tic-tac-toe strategy, but I prefer come with improvisation than tell our strategy to scum.

Also Millitos said that he will explain at the end game.

I believe it is one of the best strategical moves. Town should get a corner first. Scum can't strategize out of that imo.

I don't know about tic-tac-toe strategy a lot, because if there is 2 players play the game with, let's say 24 hours, to think their move, the tic-tac-toe will easily gain draw. So, I don't think about that a lot for now, I prefer seeking scum for now.

So, why not Mew or Qwints? Why me?

To make things clear: If both sides would win at the same time then the team that wins by line is the wining team.

@Lincolm: I picked you arbitrarily, out of the 3 corners. I didn't pick Mew, because he had a huge wagon on him already, and I didn't want the day to end without any scumhunting.

UNVOTE:

I'm a bit concerned about the strong reaction to me RVS voting Seanald.

There's really no good reason for us to start on a corner. We should really be playing D1 like we would any other game, except that Seanald is confirmed town.

Mew looks townie, I have the feeling one of penguin and Lincolm are scum.
