I know that finding scum within the first few players is lower, but:
1. This game is 1/3 scum. It's statistically likely that a scum player has posted.
2. This will give people coming into the game something to talk about.
I like fferyllt for town for post #21. Can't really explain why, but it feels really town-motivated.
there's pure statistics, and there's what scummy motivations do to people's behaviors.

Your concern of Levi is genuine, and that post was made after I checked my QT and saw it was locked.
PEdit: What is the second part referencing?

Sorry, I was under the impression that it was still RVS. Why so eager to start the game up?

Okay, I'm finally here. Interesting so far... This is a game where being mislynched is something to be concerned about...
And if any of you pulls a stupid gambit to "lure out scum" and it involves claiming scum... I WILL end you. And report you for playing against your win condition.
(I believe it was a previous Polygamist game I was in where a townie did what I just described... I'm still upset about that.)
Also why is it that whenever I'm in a lovers game, my partner barely talks to me in the qt.
No scumspects yet but they will show up.

This is not a RV, this is my religion. I'm going him for his blasphemous name. So leave me alone.

OMG KBW, please be serious. if you are town, then you need to act like one this game because a mislynch is deadly

Keyblade, can you link me to a scum game of yours?

No. I have never played scum. I'm rather new to mafia.

KBW and TAM are high on my suspects list, TAM being scum was a joke earlier, however I feel that he is one of the four lovers that are in this game.

Pardon if I'm being obtuse here, but is there any reason why we're not all claiming our partners? It's not like you can really lie about who your partner is, and I'm not sure there's any strategic advantage to keeping your partner secret.
Any reason for your suspicions of TAM beyond gut, Ms. M?

I read the wiki before day 1 started. It indicated that it's good strategy to claim late day 1 or day 2. I'm thinking late day 1 would be better.

The thing is, with the numbers scum have tremendous advantage in driving lynches. All it takes are 3 town on the wrong bandwagon. I can see why these games often see a run-up close to L-1 and then back down again. According to the wiki, anyway.

His Entrance post is extremely passive aggressive, I don't like that. He's stating what he wants and what people shouldn't do, but he isn't doing anything himself. he's fence sitting putting it simply

I don't see how massclaiming now would change that.
TAM, could you link us to your that Polygamist setup game you played earlier? It would serve a dual purpose-- I can see how you act as town (since I'm already acquainted with your scum meta), and we can get another example of a Polygamist game.

It gives us some pre-claim data with which to evaluate the claims.
It's quite possible that scum decided who they'd claim to be lovers with during the pre-day period. The question is, can they act naturally and townishly in interactions with their lovers as we FoS, vote and growl at each other?
Setting aside a chunk of day 1 to gather some data will help with that.

Wow ok. That's quite a bit of action.
Klick is town, although I'm not sold on his read of Ms M.
KBW is clearly the scummiest player here, but it reads more as lack of interest than evil intentions I think...
I'd put fferyllt as town, but scum can discuss theory without giving too much away...
Not sure about Voodoo, so

we don't even have half the players posting in the game yet Klick, the odds of pinning scum this early is extremely low. I would much rather wait for others to respond to what has happened first
Marangal, quick question, how many games of mafia have you played? Not trying to snarky, legitimate question.
And Klick, why is Marangal town?

Because, as long as I have been here, Levi has been known to get lynched D1. I don't really want to go into mylo tomorrow, if I can help it. I thought I already explained it

and how are you so sure that Klick is actually town? from what I'm reading, JK has just soft-claimed Klicks lover, which means you aren't Klicks lover... unless you three are lovers
