Makes sense.
Still, I don't want the time issue to make us over-rush things. We should be really sure about who we lynch. I'd rather not risk a mislynch on something that isn't substantial,
or a fluke.
That said, I wish Voided could come in and make some comments. It hasn't been that long since his last post, but I feel like it's better to have a lot of posts and interactions to look at and garner reads from rather than just a few.
Why was the bolded even needed? >.>
And yeah interactions are good but it's hard to interact much in a way that is going to help
Because I feel like every lynch should have a purpose behind it--it shouldn't just be people lynching based on minor speculation or quick-hammering a scum-suspect. Even if scum flips, if it was just a fluke, sure, town wins, but it's not definitive, just luck. It'd be the equivalent of rolling a six-sided die and hoping for a five or a six right now. I feel the purpose of the game is to deduce who is scum, rather than take stabs in the dark.
Like I said, reaction testing. Just talking back and forth like this has helped me get a better read on you.

Yeah but you didn't actually need the "or a fluke" part.
And i agree entirely on the theory that hammers should have reason/quickhammers are terrible.
Have done so since i was quickhammered in my first game :3

I actually quickhammered someone in my first game, but it had pretty express purpose to it, rather than being an aimless "Well, I think he is scum."
Outside of that, I just got quickhammered in a game today and I didn't even get to make a case for myself. I was at L-3 yesterday and I came back today to find myself lynched, which really sucked because I was town.
Anyway, I think that, regardless of what happens, we shouldn't park votes and if anyone does get a vote put on them, they should be given a chance to make their case before they get lynched. This'll keep town from lynching town.

Pretty much what happened in my first game

Town shouldn't put down a vote without being solid anyway?
If your solid enough to vote you shouldn't be swayed by a case

The scenario that I'm thinking of is if scum puts a vote on someone, that person will only be lynched if the other town hammers.
That said, town definitely should not put a vote on anyone without coming to a consensus on who scum is.
Regardless, I want to avoid a situation where scum puts a vote on someone who seems scummy at the time and the other town quickhammers out of gut reaction.

Hey, I'm the sarcastic one around here, Wazza.
Even so, what's with the overly biting reactions?

People never read sig nowadays, do they?
Anyways, Varsoon's caution pings me as town, or at least makes him townier to me than Jason does. Even so, what's with all this hammer spec?

Derp on my part, didn't realize you were on a V/LA sorta deal.
I'm just working through the semantics of possible game scenarios aloud. Votes have a ton of weight in this three-player game.

I know they do, but I (and would hope Wazza) would know that well enough to tread lightly enough if we're town. Feels too redundant.

State the obvious get the obvious retort back?

Cause you know, scum wouldn't be cautious at all

Honestly between your lack of posts and his overall cautiousness i'm kinda tied at the moment.
If i voted right now it'd probably be Varsoon

Well I'm terribly sorry I can't post while I'm at work
Is it just his cautiousness?

Whyso?
I guess I have given you the most content to work with out of the two of us.
I tend to play cautiously.
Who would you vote for, Voided?

Lack of posts wasn't an attack in this case.
His cautiousness and his need to overexplain the hammering and what town should do has me on edge it's just not sitting right no matter which way i look at it.
That and you haven't done much that sets my scumdar off.

Makes sense, although I'm pretty methodical with my posts. Or, at least, I found that to be the case in my first game.
I just don't want any mistakes to be made? I dunno, I suppose a lot of what I have written goes without saying, but it is better not to assume, especially in a LyLo situation.

Fair enough, I'll try to be more succinct and straightforward with my posts in this game.
Jason, I feel like your responses are really genuine, but I don't know if I should read your day-1 opinion of me as trying to start a wagon or not. For now, you're leaning town to me.
Voided, I don't know how to feel about you yet. I'm not going to say you're sitting back and letting us two go back and forth, but that's really what it feels like and I'd like to get a better read than that sort of speculation.

Well, if you read where I said you were more slightly town that Jason...Though, it feels like he's getting better.
Vars: Like I said, Jason and I know the stakes. if you need to remind yourself, that's fine, but say it to yourself.
P-EDIT: It usually feels like I'm taking side jabs at conversations because people post the bulk of their posts in the time where I'm at work and I have to catch up to 2-10 pages (yes, I had to catch up to almost 10 pages once) sometimes. I extremely dislike it since most of what I'm getting is probably already said by the time I'm done, but I have to make do.
Though, at this point, you still feel townier to me. Despite the cautiousness and such you're still trying to probe around for stuff, which is always good. Jason's posts read more like satiric side jabs than probing questions (and since he doesn't have work like I do at this time as far as I'm aware there's not really much of an excuse for it).

I'll keep that in mind and try not to flood the topic with anything unnecessary or too lengthy. I need to work on refining a shorter, more direct post-style anyway.

Not quite touche. Close, though.
I'm aware of some reactions. I'm wondering what exactly you've gotten.

I'm close that you can't think for yourself?
That doesn't sound any better.
Either way you should be reading the reactions yourself, especially (assuming your town) since there is a 1/2 chance i am scum.

The response wasn't close enough for a touche response. I can think for myself.
And yes, I'm aware. You're still avoiding my request.
