If you have a problem with him playing Day 1 blind, surely there are other ways to make that known.

Talk to the mod or something. I don't see how blindly bandwagoning him is worth the risk.
Noted. Next time I ever play a mafia game, I'll make sure to not look at my role PM.

well, that's your privilege I guess. I simply fail to see how lynching a possible townie (theres 75% chance he is at this point, right?) is a good idea. Care to explain?

Bacde, I never said this is a good idea. I don't support it.

I just don't think it should affect the game. Forcing Fritzler to claim can't be the best solution.

How about we kindly ask Fritzler to look at his role PM?

If so many people are bothered by this, I'm sure he'll listen.

My FOS was on the assumption Fritz was planning on playing the WHOLE game blind.
That's the impression I got from the conversation in the sign up thread at least...

My percentage comes from the fact that most mafia games start out with 25% scum. 100% (all of us) minus 25% (the scum) equals 75% (the townies). Since no one is dead yet, I think its safe to say that he has a 75% chance of being a townie. As long as he looks at the PM in time to make a night choice if he has one, I could care less if he plays blind day one. I certainly don't think its a lynchable offense, although I do think its kinda dumb to do. I would rather lynch someone because I think they are scum rather than "he's playing blind until twilight! OH Noes!" Day one is usually pretty random anyway and not a whole lot is accomplished beyond a remarkably random lynch. Its not as if the scum have had a night to get a game plan together, so if he's scum he could be screwing them up as well. (Unless of course the scum use the dissention he is causing to their advantage, but then they'd have to semi-out themselves, wouldn't they?)

My suggestion is that we discuss people's reactions to Fritzler's playing blind. Bacde seems to feel that by being ok with it, not necessarily considering it as a good play, and having Vitamin agree with me, I am scum. Obviously I disagree. This is somewhat like if I were to post only in the style of a french poet on day one. Is it a pain in the butt? Yes. Does it affect anyone else today beyond not knowing if I am hiding claim info in my posts? No. Does it change the likelihood of me being a townie or scum? Nope. I'll agree that in Frtizler's case it will make it harder to get a read on him tomorrow for his play today, but then again Fritzler is a decent player and would most likely have no problem not exhibiting scum tells day one anyway. In the long run, it will be funny if he turns up scum and spends all of day one condmening his scum buddies then having to backpedal in the late game to save one of them. **Note to self- watch for backpedalling from Fritz in the late game.

Well, as not as you're not playing the whole game blind, I suppose. I hope everybody playing blind the first day doesn't become the norm from now on.

Yes, "lurker" hunts on Page 2. Although I don't think it's so much lurking as just plain not being here.

Reasoning: ViolentJ1427 has signed up for three games, and has not posted anywhere else. His last post was on December 3rd. I was voting to see if he would respond, and if he does not, we may have to look for a replacement.

Hmm, and what type of posting restriction? Or are you allowed to tell us?

Why would you want to lynch anybody? Its not like there were murders, or anything...

In fact, you are here to chose a world leader. Do that now! The world leader needs 2/3 of all votes to be lynched, as well as getting an additional minor boon.

Votes for world leader should take the form:
nominate: thatotherguywhoisnotmyselfunlessthereareatleast2nominationsonmealready

You cannot nominate yourslef, unless 2 others are nominating you already.

Day will end when the world leader is elected.

No, I mean after he is elected, he cannot be lynched by simple majority.
