It was all quiet at the Em Dale Mage School, so most of the teachers felt confident leaving to deal with the major war between Elm Dale and the Rockhaven Empire... The Archmage RachMarie left behind two professors to keep an eye on the apprentices. Along with a magic mirror where she could talk with the school. One of the professors was a Shaman in case the students got hurt, and the other one was an Oracle to keep a watchful eye for any dangerous folk and could see through any glamor spell. She told them I would feel better if you are here, though what could happen?



A few days later....

On assignment from the Rockhaven Blood Mage Institute, two blood mage apprentices use this chance to strike... Their mission is to overcome the Mage School whilst most of the full fledged mages are away. But what about the two left behind, they are very powerful. So they find the ingredients needed to make a powerful curse that would rid the mages of their magic... Only one problem... Some of the ingredients are sub standard since they bought them cheap (Apprentices do not get paid much lol), and the recipe calls for torturing to death a virginal human maiden and using her blood. Unfortunately all they had on hand was a spayed ewe... Hopefully it would still work

Apprentice 1 : Funny I do not remember this having a rotten egg smell from when we did it in class? And why is it brown instead of red?

Apprentice 2: Ehh no money to buy new ones and virgins in this part of the woods are very hard to come by, I swear their daddies marry them off at 15 to make sure they still are virgins...

They finish the spell and cast it forth.... It worked... Well half worked. The Oracle and the Shaman could only use their magic on alternating nights.

Apprentice 1: I knew we should have looked harder for a virgin!

Apprentice 2: Well we do what we can, our professors are counting on us and this IS the final test before we move up to journeyman blood mage, we can do this.




Meanwhile back at the Mage School....

The Archmage though the magic mirror, asks that a committee be formed to find and get rid of the two blood mages who are using glamor to appear to be regular Mage School Apprentices. Each Day you can kill one person, if you kill both of them the school will be safe. It is the best I can do from this distance Good Luck

* in a recent game where I played as a hydra with orcinus, we had the innocent child role. orcinus convinced me that we should claim PGO at twilight of day 1, and we did. It worked out ok, though both scum and the doc targeted us on night 2 to test our claim. We outed on day 3. Because our claim would be mod-verified, we felt like the lie would not get us lynched and might get us far enough into the game that a confirmed townie could make a difference in the lynch outcome. It worked.
