I think you're making mountains out of molehills, Jason. Your arguments against me are contingent on a total of two posts, and you've declared them to be textbook scummy.
If you find them to be completely scummy posts, is there logic in that I would "blow it" on page 1 for myself?
My main concern is that me being pretty much the main subject of Page 1, it gives scum (whether it's you or someone else) a tidy distraction to hide behind, and an easy Day 1 mislynch.

I assumed you would be town since you (and i) were both town last game, but your incessant picking on me is making me think otherwise. But it's not like there's anything else to talk about; I don't mind being the topic of conversation Day 1.

UNVOTE: uctriton00.
Okay, so I'll explain the vote, AND the reason for the unvote, after more people have checked in.
As I will for this:

I walk in with a random comment, and place a vote for me saying "wow your first vote wasn't an RVS", and then I make an RVS vote, saying "now you're bowing under pressure". It's as if you have a confirmation bias, determined to find anything I do as scummy.
Why would Jason do this? Let's go into your shoes. You have experience where together we did great in a game finding scum together. We then see each other in a new game. You draw a scum card, and look eerily towards me, wondering, "man, he might be able to figure me out, I gotta take him out soon".
This is my case against you, and my vote against you.

I typed that first sentence terribly. It should say,

Yeah i couldn't at all be trying to formulate reads or anything by being myself which is overly fucking pushy.
Nope it's cause i am scum.
Seriously, i know you play well as town, so wouldn't i be more inclined to make THE FUCK SURE I THINK YOU ARE TOWN?

Mastin, let me see if I understand your vote. Is it because he checked in then hasn't contributed?
And uct, earlier you said "isn't that how all mafia players should be" (I'm sorry I'm bad at quoting, you have my word ill figure it out in a bit when I have more time to sit down.)
I'm sorry but that just seems like a horrible thing to say considering you admitted to wanting to manipulate all the new kids, I don't see the logic into openly admitting that

I read Ucrit's previous games and I don't think the too scummy to be scum defense applies in this situation.

Read the link i put out on the previous page, too scummy is never a real defense.

I have a feeling Mastin is doing (excuse me I forget the short name for it) "vote so he can read the reaction" strategy. Otherwise, it's kind of weird to make a serious vote so early and then change to another serious vote rather quickly. I am still waiting to hear his explanation on ucriton. Speaking of which, in my first game we had a day 1 character like ucrit that dug himself a whole by getting more and more desperate like he is right now. He flipped vanilla when we lynched him and I regretted it because I initially defended that guy and was swayed by who I later found out to be the scum. I know all games are different, but I won't be in a rush to repeat my mistake and I plead to the other townies to think carefully about what they are doing.
I really hope the other players show up soon.

Are we allowed to use previous games to make a case against someone's playing style? (Not that I plan to yet, just for future reference)

If there is a distinct difference between their town/scum play then sure.

Ok, thanks Jason,
And uct, if he is making this mountain explain something,
Why did you choose to bow to the pressure instead of defending your non rvs vote?

Hey guys. As you can tell, I'm new to Mafiascum, but have fairly some experience with mafia games. I played mafia several times on another gaming site and that's where I truly learned the game. I never read any games here, so I can't point references to anyone's play style. People change their playstyle often in mafia to keep things fresh, so referencing playstyle isn't always accurate. I hope we have a good game people!

Checked in but hasn't said anything; must be plotting.
Just got off work, I'm from Australia so I'm probably in a different time zone from you guys. BRB my 6pm is your 6am.
In post 7, Lucky2u wrote:My experience with Mafia games is in real life versions I've played at conventions. This is my second game on the site, I lost my first game as a vanilla townie to a perfect mafia victory.
Should I random vote now?
In post 10, Lucky2u wrote:VOTE: Crazzygoat
Well come on... he's a crazzy goat! ...with two z's! Need I say more?
I've read all the posts and right now, the most suspicious is Lucky2u. He seems to be acting clueless and playing the naive innocent townie card, but that is easily a scumtell. Everyone on mafiascum from my experience seems to all like to pretend they are the world's best detective, and think highly of themselves. I know this is the newbie game, but yeah.
Read his first two posts and it all screams "look at me guys I'm an innocent newbie townie". Lots of scums like to take on the dumb, clueless act so that people either sympathise with them, or they would overlook them as they are appearing unintelligent. I don't know how to explain it but just read those posts... it's like he's pretending to be dumb or something.
Of course, I realise that it is only 2 posts so I'm not really going to comment on it. Nothing to comment on his third post as I have a neutral read on it.
I don't have enough material to build my case on so I'm not going to vote on him as there is already 1 vote on Lucky2u.

RadiantCowbells is another person I am keeping an eye on. I don't like how he posts 1 sentence for each posts. It's like he is trying to "pretend" to be involved in scumhunting, while not trying to write too much as well. It's not like he doesn't have the time either because well, he's been posting 3 times over the hours which means he's keeping a check on this thread. So either he is writing as little as possible because he likes to keep opinions to himself (a townie that doesn't like to talk about their opinion?!), or he is trying not to write too much because he doesn't want to slip while still giving the illusion of activity.

So got any reads or are you gonna sit in the corner and twiddle your fucking thumbs all game?

A lot of people do this a lot of the time, regardless of alignment, anti-town =/= Scum
I'm an Aussie as well don't worry, it's probably best to get on round 8amish for activity.

Checked his meta and RC usually posts a lot more than what he is doing in this game. I'm just a bit suspicious, not entirely convinced about it.
