Actually, there's three. I didn't think it'd be that hard to count.help im a bug wrote:Hmm there's four votes on jentsu at the moment. I agree that she looks suspicious, but I think I'm going to hold off on voting at the moment because of that.
Also, why is it when I'm town I look scummy? =\

The "if x is town/mafia, then y is most likely mafia/town" line is something scum say a lot to try to set people up in definite relationships so they can attempt to lynch two town in succession.cropcircles wrote:The point is, her blatant wagon vote, with "I suppose..." reasoning is also a tell. .

Definately a tell, but claramata's wishy-washy sentiments is also a tell.crop-O's wrote:Jentzu: I understand what you were saying. The tell is that you came out and declared yourself town. It's something mafia often do to look townie-ish.
Shrug, they could be working together, we can't go wrong with voting either off, if one's mafia, the other's the second suspect. If one's townie, then the other is probably mafia.
Given your claimed experience, you should've realized that Day 1, scum will use almost anything unrelated to them to start discussion. I declare poor play on your part if you're really a townie/pro-town.Jentsu wrote:I don't declare myself town. Don't want to trust that? Check games I've been in, here, MiseTings, or wherever.
It's only 4/6, You're one-vote from the edge, no point in getting so excited. It seems to me that we hit our mark exactly, and you're panicking.Jentsu wrote:holy hell, four of six voting me?
back the fuck off, people.
I wont put the fifth vote on, because I want you to defend yourself and possibly make a claim if it helps your case.

Hey Jentsu, Although I don't have a problem with your cursing, I think it'd be appropriate for the others if you toned it down a notch.
Secondly, Why should we unvote you? Your defense is "I suck, don't kill me". That's not good enough for us. If you suck, what's the point in keeping you around?

I've taken that as a pro-town claim, but with the theme of this game, the abilities are limitless, so It'd be prudent if you gave us a better defense.Jentsu wrote:... or else you're all seriously fucking this up for the town.

And sorry, it's just I get mad at stupidity. >.< Quite honestly, I find the actions of a fair number in this town stupid. Compounded on other problems in my life recently, it's not like I'm just all happy-happy joy-joy.
Why is it that people listen to me when they shouldn't and don't listen to me when they should? >.<

Cut the insults and cut the cursing.
[quote="Jentsu"]The "if x is town/mafia, then y is most likely mafia/town" line is something scum say a lot to try to set people up in definite relationships so they can attempt to lynch two town in succession.[/Jentsu]
Accusing players of tells and not fosing or voting is another tell. Would you like to spew any more tells for us?

I hardly ever use FOS, and I don't feel like voting just for that.cropcircles wrote:Cut the insults and cut the cursing.

unvote, vote: Commodore Amazing
.I have a couple of reasons behind this:
This post struck me as odd as soon as I saw it, but I refrained from OMGUSing. When I saw eleven people in the user list, I had no idea who the missing person was. I didn't memorize the list. Commodore Amazing, on the other hand, apparently had.Commodore Amazing wrote:By the way, I don't think any of us have ever heard of the Lord of the Rings. And I definitely haven't heard of the main character, Aragorn. Or the fact that he was a Ranger of the North.
But you tend to remember the names of the people you target at night, now don't you. (subtle hint)
Then he jumps on the Jentsu bandwagon, but quickly jumps off to start one on a newbie.
Then there was this post (which addressed CA)--
This post seems to me like an attempt to deflect suspicion off of Commodore Amazing.Jentsu wrote:Yes I am.
I'd like to hear more opinions on what I'm posting, though.
Especially from the scum, obv, as opposed to the likely misguided townies such as you.
Overall, my impression is that Jentsu and Commodore Amazing are trying to defend each other without making it look like that's what they're doing. I'm willing to vote for either one, but I think that the first quote, where he remembers ROTN's name off the top of his head, puts C.A. higher on my scumdar list.
oh no

cropcircles - although you bring up some valid points, I really think CA's post about RotN was just to inform us. Maybe he was just excited about the game and noticed who was missing? It's too early and we simply don't have enough evidence to simply vote him off. Jentsu is still the most suspicious, but if Jentsu turns up clean, we can turn our sights on CA

I have to say that I sort of agree with Jentsu that a number of people in this town are doing suspicious things.
Also, I think help im a bug's vote on CA is pretty bogus.
Actually, I agree with both of you here I don't like when people try to set up a second lynch "in case" the first lynch turns out to be town. Seems like scum setting up one townie for another townie's lynch. But I also don't like when people are being aggressive without voting, as if they want to avoid responsibility.cropcircles wrote:Cut the insults and cut the cursing.

I don't think you can say that CA knew the missing person was RangeroftheNorth because CA targetted him last night. You can find out the name of the missing player by checking the "Queue" thread and seeing who signed up for the game. I checked the Queue thread myself to see who the missing person was.help im a bug wrote: When I saw eleven people in the user list, I had no idea who the missing person was. P.S. Vaughn just did the same thing about saying "if x is not mafia, let's lynch y!"
I don't see what your connection is between Jentsu and CA that would make you say, "if Jentsu is town, CA must be scum."Vaughn wrote:cropcircles - although you bring up some valid points, I really think CA's post about RotN was just to inform us. Actually, it was help im a bug who presented the case against CA. Funny you should confuse us.Vaughn wrote:cropcircles - although you bring up some valid points, I really think CA's post about RotN was just to inform us. I think CA's early comment does incriminate him. Just not enough for a vote. I also don't like accusing people based off the idea that another player is mafia before confirming that the other person actually is. If one turns up scum, then it's a point against the other, but only then.
I understand the tactic of setting up the lynch-after-next that scum so love. But I think it is a bit short sighted to apply that here. You can learn a lot from a wagon, especially the third and fourth votes. It is evidence depending on whether or not Jentsu is mafia and something to be considered. But no lynch will be based soley on this.
