I'm Skelda, this is my third game on this site and second Newbie, so I have a little more experience than I did the first go around. I also don't see the point in the random vote stage, so instead I want to ask you Newbies what prior Mafia experience you all have. I have played a bit casually on another forum, a few games here, and a little in real life, so that is nice. Let's have a nice game.

Actually, there is a little to go on here!
VOTE: SatanHellYeah because of that "just in case vote" and the quick unvoting. I dislike that, since "randomly" voting a scumpartner and then quickly Unvoting because of a lame excuse seems like something Newb scum might do, to me. Plus if that vote isn't random, I feel it needed more of an explanation.

@Skelda
I've played some irl mafia, but it was never really serious. I've also played on EpicMafia, but we all know that it isn't a good parameter for knowing how to play the game. I've also commonly play on globalgamers' #mafia irc channel, and in freenode's ##werewolf.

Wow. It's a bit strange to see mafia reveal themselves so early...
Hey all, I'm your IC. I'm here to help answer questions and show you how the game is
meant
to be played.
vote Satan
Keep an eye on how many votes a person has before voting them. You DON'T want to accidentally hammer (lynch) someone.

You think Satan is definitely scum? I'm not completely positive...

So you not only saying I am scum but Ranaway might be it too. Is that so?

Well, I must say you all are getting quite carried away.
Voting and quick unvoting. I voted him because he voted me, and unvoted for the same reason.
Skelda, the point is to get scum lynched. You don't want to lynch a townie.

...or maybe you
do
?
Voting for someone we find scummy isn't getting carried away. And I know the point is to lynch scum, why should we assume you are town?
As for the rest of you, what are your reads so far?

Mr. Ree what is your vote based on? You say Satan is scum but you don't say why. Just curious what you are getting your read from.

by Ranawey
The problem is that doing that can be called omgus. Is not a solid reason to lynch, and it loses more meaning if we're all new, could be total noobtown. I just wanted to test your reaction, putting some pressure on you. I was afraid you will keep scumtelling without being scum, so that's why I unvoted. That doesn't mean you aren't scum, but I think it will be easier to read you when you get more confident on your play. Or maybe it will be harder to read you. But, oh well, there's plenty of game to be played yet!
Also, excuse if my grammar sucks sometimes, english is not my native language.
PEdit: @Skelda: I'm currently neutral about Satan, he can be noobscumtelling, or he could actually trying to wifom. (correct me if I use the wrong words)
I don't have many reads on the other players, since we mostly discussed about Satan. I'm towntelling you so far.
PEdit2: Yeah, I would be interested in that answer, too, Mr. Ree

Yes. Satan is 100% pure scum. There is no denying it. That tell is flawless.
Let me see if I can find his scumbuddy before we end the day.

It's kinda ridiculous, but I'm towntelling Mr_Ree hard. Will explain later.

Btw, here is the glossary containing commonly used terminology:
There's not a single way I could defend the "I'm not scum" possition. Therefore, there is no point in denying it. But, well, I am not scum indeed dammit. And you know it. Are you just searching for an excuse or something?
This is not an accepted unvote method. Please read the Voting rules again.

You ready to go 1-vs-1 against him? The IC shouldn't say stuff like this, the poor newbies will take you seriously.

@ SatanHellYeah -
I'm giving you exactly
one
chance to prove your innocence. I want a paragraph-length read of every player who has posted so far. I don't care if they've only posted once, or if you think you know next to nothing about them. I'm looking for the feeblest, most spontaneous, most honest gut reactions you can give me. Reach into your psyche and spit out the truth. Pick
something
about everyone and write about it. Minimum 3-4 sentences each. Also, label them as probably town or probably scum, based on your best guess so far.
If you're town, do NOT try to calculate your response based on what you think the town wants to hear. Just be completely honest, even if you think it might look bad. Trust me.
If you're scum, good look pretending that you've taken the above advice.
Also, if you argue with the prompt I've given you for any reason I can promise you that your ass is grass. Comply first, and ask questions after.
@ everyone else -
DO NOT
comment on or make reference to the request I just made of SatanHellYeah until AFTER he responds to it. We don't want to taint his answers. This is extremely important, for reasons I'll be more than happy to explain afterwards.

Hm.
About 2Pac: He just posted once. Made some stupid rhyme and voted. Mr_Ree. If he was only random voting to get the attention of the IC, that's fine, but if he targeted the "pro" player intentionally and wanted it to look like random voting, that's pretty scummy. Anyway, I don't think he did it intentionally, therefore, I tend to think he is town.
About Skelda: The first thing he did, appart from the intro post, was targeting me because I "voted my scummy friend and looked for a bad excuse to unvote him". But then, when Mr_Ree pointed the finger at me, he showed some kind of doubt. After that, when I said you were getting carried away, he said that "voting someone we find scummy is not getting carried away". Also, I kind of made an accusation, saying that maybe he did want indeed to kill townies. He just asked me to prove I was townie, but didn't deny being scum. So that takes me to the next person:
Mr_Ree. Well, he is suposed to be the ro player. Pointed the finger at me. Everything must be said, I was on the spotlight. He was asked a reason. But he said I did not deny being scum. Alright, Skelda didn't deny it as well. I think he might be his scummy partner, and maybe he's getting advantadge of his "pro" possition. He's also acting like he was a boss, but that's alright if you think he's "the best" here.
Ranawey. He wanted to test my reaction. Don't know why, I think he is towny. Just the way he acts, I don't really know. I can get to see any suspicious behavior? Sorry about this guy, I cannot write much more. Appart from he keeps analyzing me in a way that gives me the creeps. But, well, I'm the most suspicious one, as it seems.
TheFuzzyLogic. This guy is acting strictly logically. Very reasonable. Which leads me to think he is scum, don't know why. He pretends to act like he actually was worried about not doing any crazy lynch, but that might be a makeup. I don't know what to say about him.
The guy who hasn't said anything. Well, I don't know. He hasn't posted anything, he's just lurking. That's why I think it's town. I am quite sure that the two scummers have talked by now.
And almost the same for that other guy, Nominull. He was at least pretending to make the silent one post. I ignore his intentions, but I can't say he is scum. He is just there, in the no-alignement straight line.
Finally, you, archaebob. I do not trust you. I am doing this no because you asked for it, but to explain myself a bit. Thanks anyway for the opportunity. I can't blame you for thinking I was nervous, but if you come to think it, I'm a damn newbie. Take it as you want. You had no other reason to point the finger at me, and I guess you didn't need much more. I do not trust you, and I can't help but to have some doubts about you being town. Sorry.
The only last thing to say is that I am a townie. Believe it or not, make your own conclussions. I am done for now.

And you may excuse me for my bad grammar, but english is not my native language as well. I did my best, though.
