Well, I'd be willing to lynch Monte and at least try Fritzler's theory.
Vote: Monte

Monty: Huh. I thought her power just had to do with votes. Grammatically speaking, that's what the description looks like. Happy a doc died, scum?
I believe Fritz
Monty is scum
Conclusion: Monty looks scummy in addition to Fritz's results and helpimabug doesn't look scummy. The combination makes me believe Fritz and that his night 1 results were sane.
I'm slightly concerned about this with Fritz as well, but for now:help im a bug wrote:My one suspicion is that this is a way for Fritz (if he is scum) to waste two town lynches--we lynch monty, he turns out clear, then we think Fritz must be insane so we lynch me or armlx, who are also (at least I am) clear.

I was under the impression that the role worked as follows: E_K chooses a player who loses their vote. Then at a later point, she gives them that vote, in addition to their regular vote. So on Day One, I (for example) might not get a vote. But if EK were to give me that "saved vote" later on, I'd get *two* votes at a later day.
I think the role ability reads something like "saves (stockpiles) votes and gives them as extra votes later on."
Anyway, I'm not sure about this claim. Like Ibby said, the role seems quite overpowered. I'd be willing to go with a Monty-lynch right now, but I'm not sure I believe the role right now. There are too many things that could go wrong:
1) Fritz is lying to us. As HIAB said, we waste two town lynches. One on Monty today, and one on HIAB or Armlx tomorrow. Combine that with two more Nightkills (assuming no SK/Doc/Vig/Roleblock to change the number of nightkills) and we're out 5-0 before we can even get to Fritz on Day Three.
2) Fritz is scum and is going to get a scummate (Monty) lynched to "confirm" himself. He'll then start churning through, "confirming" his other scumbag and find some excuse (I was wrong, there must be a GF, etc. etc.) to throw us off.
3) Fritz is legit, and we kill Monty, but HIAB or Armlx gets killed off as the doc. Fritz gets offed ASAP, and we end up with little (if any) head start on the scumbags.
Then again, it's possible that he's legit and just got really freaking lucky. Getting a scumbag this early would be a big bonus, and confirming one or two citizens is also a plus. It definitely gives us something to think and talk about during Day One, but I'm not going to vote Monty until more players weigh in on the situation.

Hi everybody! A few considerations:
First of all, I didn’t like the fact that fritzler has claimed so early in the game. With this I’m not saying that I'm not trusting him, just that it was probably better to wait for some discussion before claiming. And also that we should discuss a lot before ending this first day, so that in the next days we won’t have to base our choices only on what fritzler say. If before or later fritzer will be killed, I don’t want to end up with a game in which I don’t know anything about other players only because we didn’t care about discussion in the first days...
However I find monty’s reaction quite scummy. A real townie in this situation would have answered with something more sensational than:
Looking to the other players, I find scummy how BigAl has jumped on the wagon, totally trusting flitzer…

Where did this come from?Monty wrote:are you picking between 1 and 8?
Sorry, my previous post was hastily made at school. The role does seem to be ridiculusly overpowered, but maybe the fact that it is less likely to believed compensates for that. IIRC, in the last Freaktown, raj made an un-nightkillable townie, and her role was declared ridiculusly strong too, and therefore not very believable. There could also be a GF and/or miller to compensate.
Fritzler, is there any flavour to justify your role?
And did I mention I love to go dancing?
Come play Metroplexity! Come play Unangband!
Vote Glork
Rule 7: Trust a cop the first time. Or 2.
But why not just lynch the cop and know....
Unvote, Vote Fritzler
Obviously we can test his sanity if he dies. It also tests his towness..
Wait, why not just
Unvote, Vote HIAB
If he dies we know a scum.
But isn't that true for me too?
Unvote, Vote Armlx
Wait.... that makes no sense, I'll just vote for who I know is scum...
Unvote, Vote Rajhrfreak....
j/k, j/k
Unvote, Vote Monty
Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st

FIRST VOTE COUNT OF THE DAY
Monty: 6 (help im a bug, Fritzler, ibaesha, bigAl, armlx)
Lucresia: 1 (Glork)
Not Voting: 5 (CaptainDuctTape, logicticus, Lucresia, micigante, Monty)
6 to lynch
The clock reads 6:27 am on Day 1. You've got until 8:00 pm.
-----
Wait did I read that correctly!?
That’s a lynch.
Before everyone could reach the courthouse Chad (Monty) is accused.
Wasting no time Fritzler tells the town that he had an investigation on Chad that came up guilty.
With the 5 people voting for Chad he is lynched.
His final words were, "IM SORRY ALEX!"

Monty
(Chad, Alex loving-Serial Killer)
Lynched, Day 1You now spend the rest of the day carelessly having a good time. But little does the town know that there are other killers on the loose.
Night 2
Deadline Sunday Night, but it will be nice to get them sooner.
modnote: Morgan's role gives votes to people and saves them from a kill.

Night 2:
After a long day of rest, everyone went home and rested from the shock of two of their classmates' death.
But when they wake up they find that one of them was missing.
"What? I thought we killed the killer last night!" someone exclaims.
"Apparently there are more of them out there," another person says.
They all stare at Kalie's lifeless body. The county corner comes out and examines the body. "It looks like she was sitting here on this bench reading this magazine," he picks the magazine coated in blood to show everyone, "KKK Weekly, and she was then hit with a snipers bullet through her right shoulder. She then got up and fell as she was hit by a second bullet directly in the back of her head."
Glork
(Kalie, Racist Role blocker)
Everyone gasps.
The corner continues, "This was done by an excellent marksman probably a professional."
The town starts to walk towards the courthouse to discuss their duty at 6am
Day Two:
(Current Deadline: 10:30 April 10th)
Note: All day actions must be met before your vote counts. Failure to do your day action will cause you to lose your night action.

Okay, well last day blew by soo quickly I didn't even get to post! Fritzler seems to amaze me. You have quite a powerful role huh? I'm sorry but I don't believe that in a mini game of 12 people there could be an investigative role where you can simply pick three people that could be the complete mafia in one investigation. Let alone be completely sane.
For his unbelievably overpowerful roleclaim that will waste precious day lynches. I believe that you will have us waste a kill today and will strike tonight and the next day say "oh maybe I wasn't sane" and we will waste another day lynch and will cost us another night kill for an easy 4 more kills.
Vote: Fritzler

^^I had considered that and was about to ask but then the surprise lynch happened before I got a chance. I suppose Elvis managed to give someone a vote before she died. It looks like the Nazi-chopper is the SK.
**
One thing I'm wondering is: if Fritzler is not telling the truth, then did he just get lucky lynching the SK? cause he would have no other way of knowing who he was unless he was a role-cop. I dunno, with an SK down we have a little more room to manuver. I'll have to think things over in the morning.

dances with excitement that we lynch the SK

Also
You're so quick to jump to the belief that Fritz is scum without taking into account other possibilities, like what HIAB mentioned for example. Fritz would've had to get damn lucky to peg scum right yesterday like he did. Also, given a sane cop role with 3 investigations I do believe Fritz would have a decent chance of pegging all three on night 2. He's just a baller that way.
I'm not ready to go with his investigation yet, but your reaction is either because you're squirming scum or because you're town that reacted without thinking it through.

It isn't that I don't believe he could get all 3 scum in one night if he had the role, I am just saying I don't see anyone ever being able to have a role that would give him the possibility to find all 3 scum in one night. Let alone be sure he was sane.ibaesha wrote:Also, given a sane cop role with 3 investigations I do believe Fritz would have a decent chance of pegging all three on night 2.
