Interesting.

Strangely, this doesn't answer my question. In post 27, Wake1 wrote:How new are some of you new guys?

It's interesting because you seem at least somewhat certain that was a faked towntell. In post 30, Bulbazak wrote:What do you agree with? Why is it interesting? (GM, you can answer this too.)
Well, the point of it is really more to start the game relatively quickly in a way that could potentially be analyzed at a later date than to actually catch Scum.In post 32, TheFuzzylogic99 wrote:I hate the RVS since it is usually meaningless ,,,, that is to say that there is not a lot of useful info is generated and scum slips are rare.

One thing I see sometimes from new scum is that they try too hard to look town. This normally means that they insert the "fact" that they're town in everything they say. "Hey, I'm town. I don't get why you're voting me, I'm town. How would a townie like me know that? Did I mention I'm town?" Town generally don't blatantly advertise the fact that they're town. They're too busy trying to catch scum. Town (The player not the group. This could get confusing...) is being too blatant by putting him being town in every single post he types. It's incredibly fake, and it pinged my scumdar immediately.
Except you using that word has scummy connotations. In post 36, goodmorning wrote:Well, I'm using it.

Yes, someone else gets it. Can you tell that to some of the other scummers on the site who seem to think that RVS is some mystical section apart from the game that you can't touch ever and magically excuses you from any and all actions? In post 36, goodmorning wrote:

Every single time someone has voted for you, you've OMGUS'd them because "their vote is on town". You then try to discredit my reasoning by saying thatIn post 40, townistown wrote: Do you have any examples of me saying I'm town besides the joke I made about the "interesting" comment?I'mthe one trying too hard, which lends credence to my assertion that it wasn't a joke. Now you're trying to get by on a technicality, "I didn'tsayI was town in every post.", while you've implied that assertion heavily in everything you've said and done so far. Guess who tries to win based on semantics? Scum.
GM has a tendency to use the word "interesting" a lot when scum. It makes me nervous every time I see it.In post 42, townistown wrote:

I went back looking for other times I called myself town, and the below was all I could find that could be interpreted as that.
If this was the other time you are referring to, you misunderstood. I was making a joke that sharksword was intending to vote the entire town (because that's what the vote looks like). I was not taking it as a vote on me and then saying that I was town.In post 21, townistown wrote:sharksword wants to lynch the town. Scum #2 down, 1 to go!
Anyway..
"I've implied that I'm town heavily in everything I've done and said so far." Huh. That's blatantly untrue (even with misunderstanding the above) and anyone can see this by pressing the ISO button. Makes me wonder why you are trying to paint me as scum?In post 43, Bulbazak wrote:Now you're trying to get by on a technicality, "I didn't say I was town in every post.", while you've implied that assertion heavily in everything you've said and done so far. Ehhhh, I'm not sure one could make that judgement call from that post alone.

I think that would take some sort of intervention from someone(s) much more feared than myself.- sharksword2

You've defended your OMGUS throughout your ISO, which is defending that assertion. Your ISO is almost exclusively this very conversation. So don't tell me that what I said is not true, especially since that simple ISO search would prove that you don't know what you're talking about. In post 44, townistown wrote: "I've implied that I'm town heavily in everything I've done and said so far." That's the original quote we were talking about. So discounting conversation that stemmed from that comment, it was the only place I called myself town (or even specifically hinted that I was town) this game.In post 46, sharksword2 wrote:

you made the argument that I was calling myself town in most of my posts so far this game and implied that I was scummy via the "medium-sized" tell. that was in post 41. lets look at my posts before that point and ask ourselves where I called myself town.
14: Nope
18: Nope
21: Nope, unless you interpreted it incorrectly
22: Nope
24: Nope
29: Nope
31: Yes
34: Nope

40: Nope
sure, some of these posts say nothing at all, but the fact remains that I called myself town once, in jest.
therefore your argument is destroyed and you are seeing ghosts. unless you think anytime some calls themselves town, even in jest, they are scum. which would be ridiculous.
hopefully that is simplified enough for you to understand.
I think you are just mad cuz a n00b pointed out that you, mr. allegedly semi-experienced, posted something that made no sense. - townistown
