Btw, mine was a serious vote, in case anyone had not noticed.
You ask: Why lynch someone who is late at confirming?
1) They could be scum trying to have more pre-game planning.
2) They have a higher probability of being lurkers.
Lets quicklynch this fairy-dude by page two

In addition, I think we should do this on day 2 right before our lynch. Mason recruit n1, If scum found, then announce day 2. Then right before the lynch we hypoclaim mason so that we can get 1 innocent dude. What do you guys think?

Look at my previous games, besides the last two games that I had to bow out of, I've always been one of the most active players, as scum AND town. I had a legitimate reason for being gone these past few days and I'm lucky that I'm able to post now (but I'll be consistent from now on, the situation has been resolved).
That said, I dislike the rvs of the game and generally do not participate unless I really cannot figure out something to say by like, the 3rd day. Which I suppose would be today.

Because your ava creeps me the hell out.

Why so eager to lynch me for being gone for only 2 days? I mean, it's only the top of Page 2 for goodness sakes.

Ok at least you are more active that Rubik

I'd like to know why you asked to lynch me so early in the game though. You didn't actually answer that.

Err, how about why? We have plenty of time, it doesn't hurt us to wait to lynch AFKs, and if they ARE inactive, well, we'll be getting a new player then. Quicklynches don't accomplish anything more than a normal lynch does, only that a QL reduces Daytime and Daytime is where we get information.
Yeah, I still don't see how that's "fun." Relying exclusively on random luck is not my idea of fun.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the thread
There was voting at random to see who'd wind up dead
Scum was lining their lynches for the beginning with care
Maybe even by putting a vote on someone who was not yet there...

I would actually recruit a town read. I would rather to be able to talk to a conf town then to find a mafia.

have not confirmed. Mafia found. Easy game guys.

But because of this shit, which clearly benefits scum wincon and the mason fishing is horrible. If we get 1 innocent guy then they'll just die, our goal is to have the mason team last as long as possible. It's pretty easy to test counterclaims and I doubt scum would be ballsy/stupid enough to claim a guilty on someone while they're about to get lynched. Just let the team do its thing and if they find a guilty, great, let them out it on their own.

Also I absolutely love how you're justifying a pointless quicklynch with the 'fun' argument while linking us Thor articles on why RVS isn't "derp around since it's fun stage". Quicklynches are more anti-town than anything, how bout we not.

And by doing so, in the case the town read was actually mafia, then it is great! This will means that the mafioso will not be able to continue act to be town and deceive us further

Also, congrats, you managed to find one of the few instances in which a random wagon actually gets scum. Now there are no associatives to be made D2, no analysis to pull on D1, you're basically at square 1.
@ILF: Hannibal's avatar is from Civilization IV, amazing game. I like your last post, seems townish, stuff before that, very light scumread, so nullread for now.
I think awesomeusername is town. elle's vote is weird if Whatisswag is town.

1. Yeah except the moment you're proven to be a mason you pretty much die. To win with a mason team being all standing between this and mountainous, we need to keep the masons alive. It's like a delayed innocent child, if you will. Masons should be dropping tells that they're not masons (not enough to be scummy ofc).
Hypoclaim is rolefishing because the moment you claim recruited mason scum knows who did the recruiting.
2. Pretty much a useless point, you don't need to unvote to revote and I was lazy with the bbcode. Why, does this matter?
