Replacing whom I'm replacing. If a choice needed to be submitted, it has been done. Carry on, nothing to see here.

May as well get some conversation going while waiting for everyone to show up.

It looks like we have one mafia group, so it's probably a 3-person group. Seems to be geeks that plant uncool stuff to frame us and ostracize us.

I'd suggest dragging this day out until after Vraak X gets back. We should be able to get enough conversation going to keep this game moving; it just means avoiding a quick lynch (which we should be doing anyway). Even if Vraak X were scum, we could still snuff out his buddies. (And if he isn't scum, then we have three active scum to track.)

Away from the obvious stuff, that night plant on our jock, MeMe, was rather unsportsmanlike. (Pun not intended...ok, maybe a little bit.) Our scum probably did it thinking she was a good player over other considerations...potentially the move of a less experienced player, or one trying to look less experienced? Do others think we can read anything into this?

An inexperienced scum, if they felt threatened, probably would out an experienced player. What the heck is Magic the Gathering anyway? :?

For thorred, MtG is a specialized card game that was popular back in 1995.

Uraj, why do you assume there was a block? I don't see any evidence that there is a SK or a second mafia as of yet, so I'm wondering why you do.

MTG is still popular in some places. My nephew just started a few years ago. My cards are hiding in a box somewhere since 1997 or so.

Since this is a mini, I wasn't at all surprised to see only 1 kill and although I won't exclude the possibility of there being a Serial Killer, for now I am thinking along the same lines as Yaw.

or perhaps the mafia, noticing that she had joined late, had hoped that the medic had already protected someone else

Antrax is seriously into MtG. That goes a longways towards proving its "geekiness"

I agree that it's likely of there being only one night "kill" or just one group rather. Not only because of the size, but what exactly would the SK be doing? Remember, people arent getting killed here, they're getting shunned. Like omigod.

Hmph. I don't think I'll stand for this MTG bashing anymore, so I think we should just stick to the game
As for my assumption, it was just a speculation. I thought that a mafia and an sk was pretty standard even for mini. I've read several of them but I guess I haven't seen the whole story.

As for who would possibly want to kill MeMe...
FOS: ... everyone (including myself :P)
. She is a very good player and I'm sure that most people know that. What surprised me was that she joined the game as the last player, confirmed and then was killed a few hours later! I'm surprised that the scum hadn't already decided on a target by the time she joined.

I believe MeMe replaced Isaac. I suppose that's plausible. Or melchizedek's suggestion about opportunism. At any rate, I haven't read any games Isaac played in, so I can't tell anything about the scum from the assumption that they tried to kill him instead of MeMe.

About the only things I'm noticing so far is the MtG discussion (though I find it hard to believe either Uraj or Samadhi is trying to signal something), and BadAndie's noticeable lurking (though it has only been a few days since the game started). Guess I'll sleep on it.
