What be is RQS. Also, I heard that Mafia was played in a few days. But the format here seems it will take a couple months. So confused.

Random Voting Stage RVS
Random Question Stage RQS

Most people use either RVS or RQS or at game start to break the ice

Probably will last a month give or take

Quiz time
What is your favorite joke?
What is the longest amount of time you have ever stayed awake?
What is your worst fear?
Icecream or Pizza?
If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

Ill answer these later. Enjoy these

I'm on GMT, clearly the best timezone because the Queen uses it.

What is your favorite joke?
I hate Jokers
What is the longest amount of time you have ever stayed awake?
Crime doesn't sleep, so neither do I!
What is your worst fear?
Bats
Icecream or Pizza?
Ice cream
If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Revenge...seved cold.
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
It'd be a bit of a pay cut, but I guess a cool car, boat, plane, maybe a space station...bunch of gadgets, sweet bulletproof costume...all in black

What is your favorite joke?
Jesus walks into a restaurant and says "table for 26 please."
The Maitre'd says "But there are only 13 of you."
Jesus replies "Yes, but we're all going to sit on the same side."
What is the longest amount of time you have ever stayed awake? only about 2 and a half days (on days of new WoW expansions!)
What is your worst fear? death and running out of chocolate
Icecream or Pizza? icecream (chocolate flavored!)
If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? some sort of sandwich. also chocolate
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy? a giant magical farm where chipmunks can roam free

Central. So whichever that is. Usually (or at least in all the games I've played in) people start bandwagons to get pressure onto others at this point in the mafia game as nobody has made major reactions to the RVS votes.

I think Kirroha and Drixx each have 3 votes on them, would they count as bandwagons?

I'm sticking with my vote, I'd expect the IC to be most experienced at finding mafia so they'd want rid of him, putting a third vote on them is the most suspicious thing I've seen (not really seen much suspicious yet)

That's like starting a PC/console game for the first time, select the tutorial in the main menu, and before the NPC can give you any tips, and info which might clear your doubts, you try to hit him/her in the face :!:
You're the kind of (unstable) individual that I'll stay away whenever I can.

In hindsight I'm switching my vote because hey ~buddying the IC~ anyone?

VOTE: guttsa

All these words. The heck is a bandwagon. I just voted against blue hair??

BTW Rufus, doesn't your comment imply that the IC would have to be townie??

The only way you could know that, is if your SCUM. Hence, attempting to say that you feel protected by the IC helping you find scum, in a gamble to prove that you indeed are not scum.

Forgive typos please, I have artritis. I know that the proper word is "you're scum" but, when in pain, I type faster than I think about grammar.

A "wagon" is just shorthand for a "bandwagon". It's idiomatic speech referring to 1950s Americana. In the mafia usage it's simply used to refer to anyone who accumulates a significant number of votes. Wagons are a great way out of the Random Vote Stage (RVS) because they move the conversation away from breaking the ice and into actually playing the game.

How a player responds (or doesn't) to being wagoned early can sometimes very easily catch a scum or sort someone as likely town. If nothing else, we've finally moved on to talking about the game at hand.

As they say, gentlemen and gentlewomen (unless you're scum in which case you aren't) ... the game is afoot.

And also because it seems like everyone wants a Drixx lynch but everyone who hasn't voted is scared they'll look bad jumping on now.

This is RVS, nobody said they wanted a Drixx lynch. Also you're jumping on now? There is no case for Drixx being scum so jumping on this 'wagon' that has no substance would look bad, which is what you seem do be doing.
