Everyone stop voting 8ball. It may be the best option but a RVS wagon on the first page, especially one that involves following RC, is really suspicious.

I do believe that 8ball is the best. That said, I am almost certainly sure that one of Vedith/Taly/TemporalLich is scum. I’m pretty sure RC sees this too as they showed no hesitation to following the leader on D1.

Wisdom suggested the idea and RC gave first vote so we know it’s not them.

Wisdom and RC, both of u can probs setup analyze better than me and I am townreading you rn so answer me this...

Do you think that one of those 3 is scum?

The chances of Mafia getting the 8-ball right are probably about 1/13 or so (there are some people who they can expect to never get lynched). This means we probably have nightless for at least tonight. See a better option?

8ball option becomes less optimal the more reads and gamesolve information is injected into the thread, that gives scum a narrative to attach to and create a probable candidate to be lynched - thus being 8-ball.

thats why a quickvote out-of-the-gate is necessary for this option to work.

I have not played this style of Mafia before but reading through the powers it seems to me that 1 of 4 is pretty powerful! To narrow the field down from 17 to 4 with a guaranteed Mafia! How is this not the most beneficial for town atm?

Beep, incorrect. And this post contains no reads so it shouldn't affect the 8ball strategy regardless.

Optimal play is to use RC or myself today. I don't care which, I would rather myself because I think I can read the majority of this playerlist, but if people would much prefer RC I am okay with that. Then, we are going to use if the revealed player is town, and lynch them if scum. After this process, then we use 8ball.

It appears my dream of RQS will wait.

I dont know if this warrants discussion because I can't crunch numbers, but I think it's worth considering that 8ball doesn't actually improve ability to lynch scum today, only improves chance to deny scum nk.

This is what I’m thinking too, and it seems like there are other powers that nix nk as well...sorry to be dense but I still think there are better powers we can vote on
