For the record, slumps have a tendency to occur during weekends...
Thanks, for the heads up.

Ok...first of all, the addaman thing was a joke, so I never tried to vote.
This is my first game ever so I didn't want to just vote someone because I dunno who to vote yet. Call me suspicious if you like.
If you want me to vote, then fine.
VOTE: MORPHEUS
because he just voted for me and didn't give a reason, and he hasn't said anything else.

I must agree with StD that morpheus is seeming a little scummy. It's possible he has his hands full with other games, but I think he should have at least stuck his head in here and given us something to go on. I was already voting for him, but my vote just became a little less random. It is the first day, after all, so we can't really expect a huge logical post, but a little note acknowledging his random(?) vote would be nice. Unless his vote isn't so random, and he's in cahoots with some other mafioso. He gets a big old FOS, in addition to my early random vote.

Now that is a little suspicious Harry. hmmmmmmmm

What?!? You are calling me suspicous for placing a random vote on someone? Random means no reason! Many people do it in the beginning.
Harry Manilow wrote:I'm going to jump on the "voting entirely at random" bandwagon and Vote: Morpheus
Talk about being a hypocrit!
And StD you put a second vote on someone as a OMGUS vote. Vote Definatly Stays!

I guess it's kind of an OMGUS vote, but it's also because you didn't say two words before everyone else practically posted twice before you even said more than three words. And I would still like to know if your vote was random or not.

I think they are blowing this way out of proportion, it shouldhave been obvious Morph was random voting and though he was lurking, it's not that major a crime so early.

oops...my bad.

Let me explain myself. I didn't mean Morpheus was suspicious because of his random vote. Far from it. I meant that he was suspicious because he didn't give any explanation that it was a random vote, or, anything else at all, until I called him out. Whether or not he's mafia, it got him talking, which is rather the whole point.

Sorry for not checking in more often (business trip). I will post a vote count in about 6-8 hours.

by Dragon Phoenix
Or later...
And there was no need to wait with posting...
Vote count, 4 to lynch, no deadline:
Morpheus 2 (Harry Manilow, Save the dragons)
Save the dragons 2 (Morpheusm, Spookylou)
Spookylou 1 (Flying Dutchman)
Tepiltzin 1 (Otaku)
Otaku 1 (Tepiltzin)

Hmm...well, Manilow definitly had the right idea in calling out the lurker with proper justification. StD's "oops my bad" sounds kinda scummy to me. FOS: StD for now
I'll keep my vote on the one post player though. If we can flush out one lurker, why not another?

Come on people, if posting does not increase soon, I'll announce a deadline to end day 1.

I think a deadline is in order. This is my first game but, this is slow. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I gotta say I don't see much I can do...but yeah, a deadline would be good.
But I am kinda curious about the FOS on me from Otaku...

Fine.
Deadline for this day will be Tuesday, 2PM GMT
.
If at any time before the deadline, someone has four votes, day ends immediately. At the deadline, a minimum of 3 votes is required to have a lynch. In case of a tie, the one who got the three votes first will hang.

What does FOS mean?

FOS = Finger of Suspicion. It is used to point out scummy actions, and they are mostly used if a vote is a bit too much, but you want to record some suspicion, or if you're already voting for an even more scummy looking person.

What?!
Not knowing what a FOS is, is scummy!?
FOS: Otaku
, untill you explain this.
And let me point to Morpheus now. He hasn't even posted 50 words in the entire game, and let's see how useful they were:
Morpheus wrote:

Nothing wrong here, unless you count marking a random vote not that way as a crime. (There are people on this site (Like MeMe), who never mark a vote random, although they almost always are, but when I don't put "Random" for a vote, I'm either drunk or it means something (Mostly the latter
)
Next, Morpheus wrote:What?!? You are calling me suspicous for placing a random vote on someone? Random means no reason! Many people do it in the beginning.
Harry Manilow wrote:I'm going to jump on the "voting entirely at random" bandwagon and

This is overreacting, and it can either be a normal sign of anger (duh!), or a sign of scumminess. Mafia members often try to defend against all accusations, even if that's not needed, just to keep their name as clean as possible.
Morpheus wrote:Morpheus wrote:You are calling me suspicous for placing a random vote on someone?
Wow.
This is left as his most helpfull comment................
Mostly because of this all, and partly because we need a bandwagon as we're deadlined,
Unvote: Spookylou
Vote: Morpheus
