I'm also against outing hoods right away. I think a neighbor should reveal when their partner dies, though.
The doc has utility outside because it can protect one of the 3-4 other confirmable town roles, and I'd rather not reveal it right away.

I agree that it's a bad idea. I don't really agree that it makes Titus scum as opposed to her being wrong.

There's 50/50 chance right now your partner has of being scum. Act on it IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD guys. Use the mechanic to help solve.

Don't just make it so scum can kill the Doctor free of charge, because that kill wouldn't even give us info from the hoods and the possibility of a scum killing their neighbor.

Exactly - that’s why revealing the IC is a D2/D3 strategy. I regret even mentioning that I had a neighbor, that was careless

its a lot easier to pocket someone when you have to tailor your words to an audience of size 1

No scum can be doubled in a hood. We get a conftown. A lot of scenarios get eliminated.

Scum are forced to nearly play white flag. Every scum lynch townfirms someone. They can't bus scum, shoot the neighbor and claim the hood for themselves.

I mean phone operator, not doc. Doc needs to remain hidden, which is why no one should out hoods.

Indecisive Doc is a weak role, and Phone Operator is almost meaningless except to catch obvious lies...which is also pretty meaningless.

A D2 or D3 Innocent Child, however, is very strong.

This is right, if we want an IC it should be the phone operator since the doctor can keep them alive for a bit longer.
