i don't think that chess as a game is reduced to math bugspray, but i agree that i don't think it's all that fun, or a good indicator of other traits. what i mean is that some people take being good or bad at chess as some sign of how smart you are or how strategic you are, but honestly i think that how good you are at chess only indicates how much chess you play. like, i feel like it doesn't actually translate to anything.

The rules of using images have been updated. Yes, I know imgur sucks but unless you can tell me a better image hoster (the two qualifications are: does not require javascript to upload images, or respects your privacy in a meaningful way) it will stay like this. I use the GNU IceCat browser with various anti corporate stalking plugins and part of that basically causes all images that people post on this site to be left out. The reason for these draconian rules is because I need to be able to see the images so that I can properly moderate the game.
