Yeah, I think it's definitely better to aim for the pool first.
In the world where we lynch correctly into the shady dichotomy but are having more trouble finding the traitor, it helps us to try and split up the days where we're traitor hunting as much as possible.
If we lynch incorrectly into the shady dichotomy we lose anyway so we might as well assume we get it correct for that purpose.

I thought initially it's better to lynch into the pool first and then lynch into the dichotomy the next day, but I don't 100% remember.
