more thoughts: please add more scumsided setups next year. having a whole team of 4 behind you adds another dimension to the game and like makes it inherently more townsided in that regard. people who roll scum shouldn't be effectively boned in that regard. literally every setup here was won by town, and only 1 was like considered closed in that regard and that was the large theme and id say that was largely carried by FL nearly hardcarrying a win.

make town work for it.

and like perhaps a more dynamic points system for each side - so that you get *some* points when you do advance your wincon. Like if you lose as town, you still get *some* points if you manage to lim some town, and for scum you get more points the longer you keep the game going with x amount of scum or something. maybe just thoughts for the future. hope to play next year and not get banned in the middle of the games tho! definitely will have reformed koba playing then :)

large theme was close only because town burned like half of their potential PR's ngl

but i agree that a more dynamic scoring system would be much more enjoyable

Despite having the best team ever, I hated my game due to certain individual(s) - primarily one - making it over the top toxic and unplayable. I never ever want to have to ever go through that again. TM needs to have a much lower threshold of stopping toxicity in games.

ideally, having a team behind you should also make playing scum easier

unfortunately more people just either hate or are not good at playing scum

Interestingly, it is well known that the site strongly leans town as a meta and I believe the setups were made to be scumleaning already because of this. It's a testament to just how town leaning site meta is that this ended in an almost universal town sweep.

Also I mean, my game ended up hella close imo. Had the 1v1 gone wrong Reck could have swept things and other than D1 it was a heck of a battle in eliminating any of them! Ydrasse was stellar and Reck played a damned solid game!

Also I mean, I was considered potential scum based on the fact that scum can be coached as well, so Imo the team aspect is a huge boon to both sides.

A reorganized scoring system is an interesting idea though!

yeah goes to show that randing town is much more beneficial for your team and you get harmed if you rand scum.

teams that had a better chance randed scum less.

yeah more scumsided setups would probably be a good thing as a whole

not sure about dynamic scoring tho, the only thing that should really matter is winning and giving points to certain playstyles might lead to weird perverse incentives like not bussing

solution: 2 types of payouts.

a special Winner payout that gives max points

and a loser's payout that gives partial points based on performance.

no one is going to play assuming they will lose. scum would most definitely matter based on how many day phases with eliminations they survive.

look im going to be honest, i don't think its really possible to create a 'fair' way of dynamically rewarding points. a simple 1 pt win and 0 pt loss is just simple and fair. of course the best case would be if we played more games but uhhh yeah about that...

im not saying it wouldn't be cool to have a system that basically scored u on how well u played outside of you winning or losing but i dont know if thats possible with a game like this
