(
alignment / Ascetic Checker role)
You are immune to non-kill actions.
Each night, you may check a player. You will be informed of whether your check attempt on that player succeeded or not.
If you are making third-parties with alignment abilities, please make sure they are clearly demarcated from role abilities. The Deck of Astral Roles is a Grandest Idea variant, that means people will be picking an alignment card and a role card.
Also note that
is a category of alignments, not itself an alignment.
and
are alignments. The thing that makes an alignment an alignment is the win condition, and some alignments have factional abilities (if this is the case they should be demarcated from role abilities).

Werewolf 1-shot 1-Night Mass Vanillaizer
(Werewolf / 1-shot 1-Night Mass Vanillaizer)
You may, once, target everyone else in an attempt to vanillize them. This is temporary and they regain their previous role at the end of next night. X-Shot abilities (and the like) do not reset upon being regained.

If I'm holding something like a fruit or an invention and I get vanillized, do I lose the item?

(
alignment / Scumfinder role)
You may investigate a player each night.
You get an
Innocent
result if your target can win while the Town wins. You get a
Guilty
result if this isn't the case.
Town, Survivor, Jester, Unjester, and Condemner are examples of Innocent results.
Groupscum (e.g. Mafia), Cult, and Serial Killer are examples of Guilty results.

Vanillaization does not destroy items.

Vanilla Apparition
(Apparition / Vanilla)
The apparition faction doesn't kill. Instead, they "possess" people. What this means is that a apparition can take the role of the person they possessed. In the morning it will say that no body was found, and there will be no flip. The apparition doesn't take the alignment of the person, only the role. Each apparition can only possess one person.
Non-standard factions? Non-standard factions!
(edited to remove slur)
(Edited again because Restless Spirit already exists)

TREESTUMP: SELF
. You cannot take any actions once you have treestumped, and are considered dead for all intents and purposes.

Undead Universal Strong-willed Puppet
(Alignment: Undead/ Role: Universal Strong-willed Puppet)
Alignment: The first time you would die by any means it is not announced in the thread that you have died any you continue playing as normal. You lose if you would die a second time. You win if you have died exactly once at the end of the game.
Role: As long as you are alive, you perform all factional abilities. Factional abilities that target you and aren't allowed to self target fail. Each faction is still responsible for choosing the targets for the abilities and are not told you perform them. You are not informed of what abilities you have taken, although you get any result PMs from said abilities. You are immune to roleblocking and redirection attempts.
Tracking and watching style roles will only see the puppet as performing factional actions. Watching a puppet will not show the player(s) controlling them.

Additionally, you will add the Loud modifier to any role you take.

(? / ?)
The player must send a role name for the mod to base their alignment (and abilities) on. It's literally just a UPick.
If rolled in a context where UPick doesn't make sense, this is a
card instead.

Mafia Communication Creator

(Arsonist / Framer)
Every night, you may either douse a player or ignite all players you have doused before, thus killing them all at once. Players you have doused will appear like a
would appear to any investigations for the remainder of the game, unless the dousing has been somehow removed.
You win when all threats to you are gone, and you are currently alive or were alive in the last phase, or nothing can prevent this from occurring.
Inspired by the TOS incarnation of the Arsonist.
