hats off to you for breaking the breaking strategy, psyche.

VOTE: No elimination.
lmao guess I’m psyche here
well, that’s a fairly distinguished place to be in, actually, so I don’t mind

but I see the utility of tracker + jk, now, with tracker being an innocent child
not sure whether it counterbalances the possible clears and scum-blocks that a jk or tracker might get, though

wait so Cook, the strategy looks legitimate

and I get having the strategy and really wanting to get it out there, even though you rolled scum
…and I was going to say something here, I had it clear in my mind, but now I’m not sure

after reading your ISO in that game again, I’m confused
is no-elim better day 1 or not?

so just skimming the mod ISO, it didn’t work out for T3 in his game

hm so the strategy is, broad terms, unless we can follow the cop, having two ICs D2 and keeping information away from scum is the way to go
if that were accepted in mafia theory, wouldn’t masons always claim day 2?

I’m definitely misunderstanding things here

don’t think T3 followed it very thoroughly in his game, though, looking at
his
ISO

I mean, if it didn’t here we’d be stuck in the tricky spot where it was thyənhith, and no one wants that

Tracker, please claim. It's not advantageous to scum to claim Tracker.
Kinda weird you want to get the tracker killed N1.

Roden, sorry but I'm not reading past games. If you have posts to link to, that's okay. But I'm not reading games unless I generate some WIM.

That's fine, it isn't required reading. More so just some background info on Cook's strat, you can do with it as you wish.

I’m trying to get my thoughts onto not-paper, get things out there to be responded to
I’m pretty confused by the strategy and the principles it’s predicated on

Meh. I'll probably do it. Just don't feel like it at this point. You're good enough that I'm sure I'll get something out of it.

(that's not a pocket)

It's rvs so I wouldn't get too overwhelmed by any principles. Trying to make sense right now is a good opp for scum to jump.

I'm kinda game-starved right now, waiting for things to start in other queues. So I may be posting more that I usually do.

And as this is a straight up schadd_ game where schadd_ is limited in the design, I can only imagine the weird stuff that would happen if it weren't in this queue.

Spoiler:

As far as I'm concerned every time scum is caught, it's Goodnight Vienna.

And lest you go Boomer on me, I'm not in that slot. Good music is good music.

Just new players jumping on inconsequential stuff. RVS is not really a good time to do much more than fool around and fall in crumbs.

yeah, fair enough

Roden, what do you think of Cook’s potentially-NewD3-breaking strategy?

pedit
I like that song, occasionally
y’know, I always thought Ringo was the least interesting of the Beatles
but maybe he was the Thomas Cromwell, the power behind the throne

atm I’m at the same point, sorta
only I’m really procrastinating on other things, and mafia’s a useful outlet for that

so not the same at all, but sorta
‘not the same, but not different either’, is what I’m trying to say here :D
(well, it always is)
