Point of clarification: Emails about thread replies were turned off several years ago (emails about PMs still work), due to excess server load. What that checkbox WILL do is add the thread to your 'Watched Topics' link in the menu at the top of each page, which still makes it easier to spot.

Hrm, we do have to give them time to check out the thread. The game did just open yesterday, after all. Until everybody's checked in though, there really isn't too much to discuss, until somebody does something scummy.

a mosquito just started biting my hand so i blew it off. Then i was like "man, ow, my hand hurts. I should have killed that thing".
Then the same stupid mosquito started biting my hand two inches from the same spot. I was so ticked, man i smacked that thing so hard. If it had been my right hand hitting my left i probably would have broken it.

Why the unvote and vote YOUNG ERIC? Not everyone has even checked in yet. You're putting me at L-3 because it goes with a funny joke? Yet you defended your initial vote with three reasons, two of them not jokes, when humor was expected. It seems like humor is just a cloak you pull out to "accidentally" start an early game bandwagon.

Yeah, i don't have a random number generator, so i just punched random buttons in the calculator you can get off the start menu and used the last digit. Since there's 9 people, capricious was both 9 and 0....
Just throwing out the fact that pops also put someone at L-3 on a random vote, which is just as likely to have been a fake random as young eric's. Granted young eric's was an unvote, vote, so pops isn't wrong with what he did, I just think he's being a little too sensitive to his poll attention, and may have been driven by an omgus fos.
It was a random vote, obviously i can't prove it's a real random vote. I felt intentionally switching it to avoid an L3 would be too biased for the random vote phase.
But yeah you're right. I barely have case enough for an FoS. But i'm getting people talking. Talking helps the town.
What's omgus? I figured out FoS from reading another game, it's pretty intuitive, but omgus is harder to figure out.

fos = finger of suspicion (used when you suspect someone but aren't quite ready to vote yet
an omgus vote is an oh my god you suck vote, where you vote for someone because they voted for you. I learned all of this from the mafiascum wiki page, it has a glossary of terms.
@post 41: we shouldn't move out of the random phase before martin 413 checks in.
ok. I'm not gonna lie. The was an omgus factor in my vote. (Except my g stands for "gosh" because i'm a christian).
