You also forgot a third possibility: Mafia directing Werewolves to shoot as town. Bo's right. This is WIFOM, and doesn't help to derail an argument, as you could just as easily been scum who did that.

Thene and Bo's repartee from #234 to #247 strikes me as off.

Thene was pressured to scum hunt, still hasn't done so. Avoids Bo's questions entirely with sections like this:
I don't want reads.

I want you to tell me whether or not you feel like you are really scum hunting so far.
What do you do to get reads?
And:
So you feel like you're scum hunting.

So explain why you said "if I scum hunt now" in 236.
I mean "Turn it up a notch"
Easy to infer meaning after you've slipped.

I'm still very happy with my vote on Thene. I'm not sure why Bo cleared him of suspicion so quickly. Which raises just as many eyebrows for me.

If you look at the questions I'm asking him in succession, you might understand where I'm getting at.

Bo, responding to something doesn't mean your worried. You should be more concerned if I ignore something where my name is broughht up.

Bulb, except that I specifically said they should shoot for scum so....yeah.

Anyway. Bo. Why is thene town now?

He believes an Icebox or Zach scum flip will incriminate him.

But he's still voting Icebox.

TNE-scum probably would've voted someone else by now.

Couldn't that just mean thene and icebox aren't scum together?

But if TNE stayed on Icebox if Icebox were lynched, and Icebox flips town, TNE's probably gonna get a little suspicion from others regardless whether TNE is town or scum.

However, that's why I'm saying TNE is town
for now
. It depends on if the Icebox wagon (or a Zach wagon) picks up and his interactions related to those. If TNE retreats from the wagon, defends it, etc., could definitely be put back in my scum pool.

So he looks bad if ice/zach are scum and he looks bad if they are town. So that makes him a town read for now? And then you are telling him what to avoid doing that would make him look bad.

I'm really not following your logic here.

I'm saying that TNE doesn't look worried about the suspicion an Icebox lynch would bring on him. That comes from a town mindset.

Or scum who feels like they are going down anyway. I've seen scum stop caring when they get wagoned Day 1. Hell, I've probably done it. I've never played with him though so it's hard to tell if he'd do it or if you're right.

Scum that give up Day 1 on a wagon usually have a heavy chance of being lynched.

TNE wasn't really in danger of a lynch yet. Why would he give up so early?

Maybe he thought it was inevitable?
I've felt that way before.
Not that it's alignment indicative, because i've felt that way as town and scum.

It's more of a carelessness than giving up. It's hard to separate the two, but there is a difference. You can sense it after three or four votes. When I hear giving up, I think of the player who stops posting at L-1 or L-2 or near deadline as the only major wagon.

I think fuzzy gets it. It's more of a "fuck this game. These people are dumb and I'm getting lynched anyway" attitude even if you aren't posting those words. The posting is just more effortless in appearance due to a defeatist mentality.

TNE was nowhere near an obvious lynch.

If it was a "Fuck this, these people are dumb" thing, that's more town than scum right? Why would scum find the town dumb for voting the right person?

This was what I was thinking personally, the way you worded it Egg is making me think town over scum.

Guys why are you comparing me to yourselves?

Bo, I agree. He wasn't an obvious lynch. He had three or four votes and may have experienced the carelessness I described as opposed to the giving up mentality of an obvious lynch. Just like I said in my last post.

And there's nothing more frustrating as scum than being voted for what you think are bad reasons.

Thene, I'm considering my theory and Bo's. We don't have a defense from you to go by so I'm using the resources I have.

Just to query this, but is this half the hydra being V/LA? Or the whole hydra.

Never played with a Hydra before so figured i should ask now.

I'm completely swamped right now. I should be able to participate in discussion tomorrow. But no, just because GIF V/LA's doesn't mean I'm going to.

The reason Gif didn't know what I meant when I stated I suspected Zach, is because I just put a reads list up with no comments in the hydra chat.
I've been busy the last few days and unable to do much more than provide a reads list and make minimal comments.

I'll explain this before I go. I suspect Zach because his perspective is too narrow and he's entirely too comfortable with the situation.
