I thought about that as a possibility, but like, really that was just a solid gambit.

Damn, that last day was so rough. I genuinely had no clue where to read. I kept getting hard town pings from Creature, and I knew to trust my gut on Battle, so Pooky was confirmed in my mind, but I couldn't figure out which of the 2 were scum. That's a little highlight out of this, though, the trust on Gamma with the Creature while solidying BM. The Johnny doctor call is the be all end all. Everyone's head, including mine, got turned into "Johnny and Ydrasse" but that didn't make sense, so it got brushed away. I definitely didn't expect the No Kill. I thought of it as an explanation that could reason it, but I just didn't think it was a play that was going to be made by the team in the game. That was fun. Felt like a real battle. I'd say the No Kill/Ydrasse pairing with Johnny were the 2 major plays made to be able to do well here. I had a good net, it was a powerful weapon. Like anytime I started to think about the possibilities of Johhnny or Ydrasse being scum, it got shut out incredibly easy, so it helped convince of the plan going forward to be trusted. It just got really hard when Creature and BM were both super townie. I hope they figure it out, I think there's a possibility, but yeah. Nice dodging of the net.

Isn't it wild that, 2.5-3 years on, Creature is an endgame miselim?

FL I've been thinking about this game and the massclaim
fwiw with you shooting bm + no kill giving a "clear" I think it wasn't that unreasonable a situation to masjclaim and I'm confbiased
I think town wins this but the gambit was good play from scum
doing some postgame thoughts now because why not
the vig shot + no kill seemed rather advantageous to town in that position and we were overconfident, but once pooky lost duel it was basically over
@pooky you played rather well to stay at the end of the PoE of FL! you were very townie imo except ydrasse-pooky was a reeeally viable team fmpov and I was tunnelled on your partner
@ydrasse good fake claim and d1 resistance to my pressure was adequate, you missing probably detrimental in lategame for scum tho
no personal offence intended in the tunnel btw, im quite emotionally/spiritually invested as town (and although im more active in the thread, im rather less invested in an emotional level as scum) and I probably eventually need to learn to take a step back/be less confbiased as looking back I was quite confbiased by my ydrasse read
@rest of town I think did more than enough and BM/Taylor did become quite obvious town after a bit

nah, looks like the gambit worked. obviously original night actions would have been better, but tbh this ended up working well.

I think if we could play out this game loads of times it's -EV. In this specific game it worked a treat. Most of day 2 is entirely town wagons on town and town coherency shattered despite what should look like a great night 1. And part of WIFOM/having a scum range is not always making the optimal play.

ydrasse is here
everyone requested fast night so they're at least active once per 48 hours

what's -EV, the gambit or our original plan?

The gambit (and no killing in most circumstances). I feel like no kill n1 when you know town probably has a bunch of investigative power can go really bad really quickly. But it's worked out and made an awesome game fmpov so well played.
I figured you might claim the rb as a town jk or no kill closer to endgame with the informed when designing it.

tbh flavor if i roll scum in a game that has you we're using the most fucking crazy gambits of all time and then just letting you "mechsolve"
