if they take power role claims at face value, that leaves only 4 places they can look for mafia bus driver: tgp, aristophales, hub, and bell

it also makes no sense for a mafia bus driver to target bell unless bell is the bus driver or a teammate (or the inverse, hbb, but why bring up fruit so close to a lynch as mafia?), and if my ability worked it should block tgp, right?

the solution would then be to claim fruit vendor, but that itself is a problem because why lie about being vanilla on day 3 while calling for massclaims?

and for the 'out' of framing tgp, assuming the above are all true claims, the only people who could have targeted me are hbb and aristophales

so essentially we have to weigh the pros and cons of 2 decisions:

1. wait it out and hope they're dumb and don't see how it can't be anyone other than bell/hope someone says they targeted me/hope someone makes themselves even more suspicious
2. claim fruit vendor and somehow convince them it makes sense for you to lie to the point of being lynched almost, and not counterclaiming another fruit vendor

unless I'm missing something

idk the only way I can see it being pulled off to claim fruit vendor if is if it's within the scope of your personality to act grateful that hbb finally posted that or something, but then you'd still need justification for waiting

you'd also have to have a purpose for existing alongside a loyal fruit vendor

andd there'd need to be a reason bef's didn't send to you, which I guess would be roleblocker

or that he was lying

however it might be the only option? bell you’d have to really sell it to the town but if you can insist that you’re fv maybe it’ll work

the issue is that 1) bef claims loyal which will give this all some scrutiny over a rber existing or not and 2) a lot of this rests on the idea that specifically bef got targeted by a role blocker which i’m unsure is a reasonable expectation for town

also you uh. can’t really claim complex fv i think without it looking super sus

pointing out mafia inverted could go horribly wrong, such as the realization that my role fits perfectly with that

although it implies Bell scum because scum are more likely to bus drive one town and one scum. In fact frankly I would think it would make Bell more likely the scum strongman, since scum would actively want the strongman alive so would make him a higher priority for the bus drive

i don't think that they'll do a 1-1 connection to inverted + enchantress and i think it's best to bring it up in the midst of all this stuff when it's like, mired up in bell/bus driver/etc than later when people might've figured it out?

I'm sad cause I was gonna use my own role to reinforce it by saying that my role needs not only roles that can target but roles that give feedback when targeting, and you and bef would have been the only ones

pros to killing hbb:
- almost no one has suspected him and he's hard to lynch as a baseline
- he might have a better power role than that
- people may not even consider he is mafia after bell died
- his opinion of us being town could change
- framing someone, if he targets me, could result in me being voted the next day if they don't believe he was roleblocked/lying

cons to killing hbb:
- it's suspicious if he lives, as it makes no sense on the surface for us not to kill the only role unknown to mafia (we've shown we can nightkill commuters, and bef being non-consecutive means I couldn't out mafia with my role tonight (or the next night if "they" just kill bef))
- he has said he thinks we both are town
- we could use his ability in conjunction with mine to frame someone
- framing someone could frame him as lying about it to frame someone
- 100% kill chance on commuters tonight
