my analysis of that implo post was still valid

I meant read as in my aggregate assesment of how scummy the slot is. It dropped lots of stock price. Because of a separate towny thing that happened

Do you think everyone can talk to other people in a PT?

No, but I'm still not sure how that relates to the read in general.

Well...not by the way she worded it. If she said you are scum if you don't find that one implo post towny then she could have said it straight up but she chose to say that if you don't find implo's post towny then you have outside influence in some way. That's the question I'm trying to figure out here.

She was just saying it in a clever way, scum have scumbuddies they can talk to

Sigh. Maybe I'm just going mad with my logic.

I'll be waiting for the explanation to why that particular post is towny. Still not seeing it.

i was also oddly baffled because i did not click on the link of the all caps thing that was not explained in isis's post without clicking the link and had no idea what was being referred to :x

Is the thing you want thoughts on the manner in which she called you scum, or the fact that she thinks not finding that post towny is scummy? My interpretation is you want thoughts on the latter? In which case I would say, eh. It's possibly a little bit out-there of an accusation for scum to make that no town player could possibly disagree with her opinion. Or maybe she already thought you were scum and is not actually putting stock in you not thinking that post was towny as being indicative of you being scum.

This is like, the most semantically challenging post i think i've ever had to write

i don't really have much opinion on isis right now. kinda trying to parse how she's viewing the game.

Ooh - interesting. I didn’t think about the latter.

Why does it matter? Levels of engagement are tricky to fake as scum.
In post 61, seCret hYdra wrote:and why you assuming that's not the case here?
Because I thought you were the other head until you clarified and your activity is miles better than my experience with you.
In post 84, AaronFrost wrote:i feel like the same logic could apply here if he's scum, especially since he's part of a hydra this game
Meh. Maybe? But typically in this instance that player would end up taking a backseat, in a perpetual "im catching up but" mode.
In post 104, Infinity 324 wrote:Fwiw, normally when I see scum question TRs on themselves, it's one question and they often don't follow up, so my RVS-townread is now an actual townread.
What? is the first time Penguin's posted since implo townread him. How is this "following up" on it?
In post 140, Bridgeburners wrote:notsci limiting his posting is prob town motivated
Why?
In post 175, Isis wrote:I don't think town!implo could actually find that much AI so early in the game and it feels like I'm looking at performative play.
I'm a tad skeptical on it too, but I have little bearing on implo's play. I was writing it off as him taking glances of my play in 2181? I also think it's early and if I can use the "its literally page 3" excuse so can he lol
In post 175, Isis wrote:skitter didn't tell the mod right away about her V/LA
skitter has done this in both games I have played with her iirc and she was town in both

plus its in her sig lol
In post 192, Bridgeburners wrote:Isis can i tempt you with a scipio vote?
I have not seen one haiku.
In post 198, implosion wrote:I also think there is a pretty solid chance that bridgeburners are scum but that is very definitely something to litigate later.
Why? I'm fairly solidly townreading Mena's posting thus far.

I'm a tad lost. I think it's playing in catchup mode, but excuses don't really do anything. I still think gypyx is town. I think mena/skitter is town. I'm kinda leaning town on isis I think? Not enough to stand in the way of it. I didn't like infinity's townread of penguin for following up on a post when that was the first time penguin asked about it- that seems like a weird take to make.

My vote is for sale to whoever writes the best limerick to sell me on theirs.

3/10.

Not really seeing the Isis SR's.
In post 183, Isis wrote:how is that a townslip? doesn't this setup only have a godfather a quarter of the time or something?
Also, this post feels way too dumb to be scum actually trying to fake a townslip, considering it came right after my original post was shown.

i've done it i think in nearly every single game i've played for literally years now as both alignments and a) isis managed to dig up the like one example where i didn't and b) she really ought to know that

Ah, reading is tech. Sorry infinity.

@skitter-
This is going to sound really weird but I liked her push on you about the v/la thing and don’t think scum isis comes up with that. It’s not a bet the farm read but it felt town enough where I wanted to comment on it.

Ninja-
Do you have a lot of experience with isis? I might be missing context here.

In post 175, Isis wrote:skitter didn't tell the mod right away about her V/LA in Mini 2113 as town, but did so in Newbie 1951 as scum and did so in Silent Star 3 as scum. I'm sure further citations will dilute this pattern but even with a weak pattern, it feels significant when this is a game where she's in a hydra and she knows it matters less. It's also somewhat less town-hydra-y to opt for shouting that out to the mod right away versus consulting with Menalque to ascertain how necessary it is or isn't, since as town it's a shared responsibility to solve the game and as scum the posting pattern is more of a visible lifestyle or that's a bad metaphor I was trying to think of a better one.
this is one of the most bizzare takes i've seen, especially weird after you called out my own apparent moon logic
In post 175, Isis wrote:Oh Aaron Frost is in this game that explains something.
This is a weird moonlogicky post since nervousness is like, you know, hard to hide? It seems oddly level 1 thinking for a vet. I feel bad for not having a read direction on it aside from just finding it salient.
have we played together before?

Scipio is mean

I've played exactly three games with skitter and used all of them for examples of the possible pattern. She doesn't really have a way to allege cherrypicking.
