Still want to hear from Arrow.
Orange was talking about the Trust Fall mechanic. She was referring to my RVS pair vote on Circle. In Trust Fall, as soon as the Pair, is finalised, they leave the game. If Circle accepted my vote immediately, they would have to explain why as would I. That is why we "actually have to defend" our choices. Obviously, in this game, scum may pair up, so defending and explaining is more important than if we were in a Trust Fall game.In post 246, Heart Shape wrote:Can you explain this?In post 205, Color Orange wrote:You actually have to defend your choices.
assume that alignments are randomly distributedIn post 143, Pentagon Shape wrote:So I know it isn’t me and unless I’m wrongly reading circle and arrow and it isn’t star, then it would have to be between heart and diamond, assuming only one scum in shapes?
But with one extra power, it would seem likely at least one.
I really don’t have a read on either but based soloey by PoE, scum is probably likely in at least one. Red looks the worst from the colors with my liking yellow, orange, blue and maybe purple?
Have no idea on green yet but slots that haven’t impressed me yet are: red, heart, green, diamond.
well i cant pair with youIn post 259, Diamond Shape wrote:I... kind of don't care if I'm paired anymore.
It feels like the thoughts I did give were kind of brushed over so I don't think anyone is particularly interested in picking my brain so, if everyone else wants to play together go for it.
Though, I will say stuff like this is very frustrating. You consider me null, but neither did you have any meaningful engagement with my thoughts when I offered them, and I offered a handful that you could perhaps talk to me about if you cared to. So, slotting me as the person to leave out without trying to figure me out is... pretty crappy feeling. In post 257, Color Purple wrote:To be fair, Triangle remaining unpaired does mean that Pentagon or Star will get delayed based on 245. Diamond is my opinion, the only null read who I'm uncertain about. Red, being a colour, will have to get paired, eventually.
It would be nice, I didn't give a ton but still it's a bit like waving an "I'm here!" sign right now.In post 261, Circle Shape wrote:well i cant pair with youIn post 259, Diamond Shape wrote:I... kind of don't care if I'm paired anymore.

but when i get to your thoughts i can try to talk about them
Actually, I'm moving you to a townread. This post does feel genuine. I'm sorry for not enganging with you earlier. That leaves Triangle and Red, though Red is becoming a townlean after rereading through their ISO. I would find Triangle, my only null read now. I'll probably resort everybody later. In post 262, Diamond Shape wrote:Though, I will say stuff like this is very frustrating. (No, this isn't meant to be ATE. Just trying to be genuine.)
Why do you think purple had the opposite view?In post 258, Circle Shape wrote:catching up now
i think i am very confident in purple being town now
which means that some of the early foses on purple were likely scum opportunism
ill have to review that
but would be very surprised if there wasnt even one scum in the people who called out purple
I flipped my read on red, I know think they’re town and I’ve explained why.In post 201, Color Orange wrote:Okay scratch that previous negation. Why is Red suspicious for you?In post 108, Pentagon Shape wrote:So far liking circle, arrow, blue, orange
Suspicious of purple, star, red

I already answered but I’ll requote it again. In post 229, Color Purple wrote:Oh, I see. I would like an explanation too. Orange, THIS post.In post 196, Pentagon Shape wrote:I think this post pretty much never comes from scum.In post 150, Toogeloo wrote:The reason I thought Diamond TMI'd was because as far as I know, we don't know what our powers or modifiers are. So when he claimed that Mafia would have a Roleblock, I assumed he was talking about one of their powers and not the delay action (which isn't a Roleblock).
Shortly after, Pentagon states he didn't like Diamond, which is why I considered Pentagon a good spot to pair with.
I haven't really been trying to scum hunt, so much as figure out who would be my ideal partner.
I agree on shapes, less sure on heart but they sound fine. Wrt colors I like red, purple, orange, yellow, maybe blue?In post 233, Color Purple wrote:If Circle agrees, that leaves Heart, Pentagon, and Star, as my candidates for pairing. However, I feel that Pentagon would probably try to go with Red (who they have as locktown). Star wants to stick to his plan. Heart would be my backup pair if Star sticks to his plan.
