I'm p sure if you can't propose that the 'scum decides all the roles' kicks in so maybe don't do that -shadoweh

I'm waiting on mod confirmation. If I'm being dumb and it doesn't just let me invalidate my role we can use it to make someone voteless.

A majority of us are familiar with Nero here and know how easily he can go off the handle and be a distraction or lead town off a cliff. He’s not getting killed anytime soon when you not only take that consideration but the fact that he hasn’t made any waves either.

@cfj: Miller has no effect on Psychologist results?
Also, does Psychologist check whether a player has never used an Eliminate ability the entire game, or hasn't used one during the current night? Or both?
Miller doesn't affect Psychologist results because they check to see if someone has the Eliminate ability, not to see what their alignment is.

If someone has ever used an Eliminate ability at any point in the game (either the same night Psychologist is used, or earlier), they will give the same result as someone who does not have access to the ability at all.
In post 2391, popsofctown wrote:Both revisor and gladiator interact with d3 King it seems like? That's weird?
@callforjudgment: what happens if d3 king logs in as early as he can and submits proposal with Alice as the Compulsive Quitter, and then one shot gladiator logs in right after and bolds in thread that Bob will gladiate against Charles
As soon as the King makes a proposal, that effectively counts as a hammer, immediately moving the game to twilight. Actions that interfere with the proposal mechanism will no longer be usable at that point.
In post 2394, pisskop wrote:
@mod:. what happens if a non-town aligned player uses a friendly neighbor?
It acts as a Visitor ability; it will target a player but have no effect beyond that.
In post 2418, popsofctown wrote:
Does Chronomancer delay the Friendly Neighbor "you've been visited by Eve, who is town" message?
Yes.
In post 2441, Gamma Emerald wrote:
@MOD will a treestumped player have their alignment revealed?
Yes.
In post 2442, popsofctown wrote:
Will chrono fail to delay an investigation performed by a Macho player just because the role is tagged "protective", or will only the protective aspects of the chrono ability fail due to the macho
Abilities marked
Protective
fail on Macho players. So they would receive the results immediately.
In post 2512, Bingle wrote:
@mod:If I as Day 3 King lose my proposal do we continue the day proposing as normal with everyone else having one proposal, or does the day just end, or does something else happen? I assume that given the specific punishments, breaking the post restriction intentionally is not considered breaking the rules.
Nobody would have a proposal left, making it impossible to propose before deadline. I would allow players to accelerate deadline if they wished (to avoid having to wait for it to expire). When deadline was reached, the Scum would get to anonymously choose how to allocate the roles; the allocation itself would become public but not who made it.
In post 2523, AP wrote:
@mod: How does Treestump work on someone with an ability already? Will the MD still be able to get results? Will the King still be able to propose on D3?
Also how does the Chronomage
target
do with an active ability? If the Chronomage targeted D3 King and they were shot tonight, will they still be able to submit the proposal on D3??
Treestump is equivalent to being eliminated in almost every way; the only exception is that you get to post (eliminated players can't normally do that). It doesn't allow you to perform night actions, or participate in voting or proposals, or have your other passive abilities adjust the game. So a Treestumped Motion Detector couldn't attempt to use their ability, and a Treestumped King would not remove everyone else's proposal (and would not have a proposal of their own).

Chronomage doesn't affect the target's actions at all; it only affects moderator messages to the target and the time at which someone leaves the game after being eliminated overnight. So using a Chronomage ability on a King would make no difference to the way in which the King affected the proposal system.

Other then making sure they get lynched this time idk why we'd do this, but considering that's the result I'd want anyways..

So without thinking about it too hard is there any reason not to do something like this?

Night 2 Bulletproof:
Captain:
Chronomage:
Doublevoter:
Neighbour #3:
Gamma Emerald

Day 3 Post Restricted:
Psychologist:
pisskop

Revisor:
Night 3 Compulsive Role Caller:
Even-Night Tracker:
popsofctown

Treestump:
Compulsive Quitter:

We could put all three of the investigative roles into the Neighbour PT for secret results sharing, which I guess isn't as useless when they're outted but there's still value to being able to hide results until someone accidentally contradicts them. Another useful possibility is putting one as the Night 3 Compulsive Role Caller so three people can discuss the next day's roles in advance
and get half the proposal arguing overwith.
- Shadoweh
I will repeat: The scum team is momo+HH+pops

HH is proposing to either have pops privy to both other investigative roles results and targets (as well as denying town an investivative), OR have pops privy to the PK's target, deny the town an investigative and LEARNING THE D3 roles list in advance.

you know what? I'ma stop criticizing bad play. I will just chill and be useless on most games unless we have a competing player list to play with. People playing games that they don't read is so fucking disturbing and taking these games with any degree of seriousness is me being a jerk.

Carry on, please.

pops is already in the neighbourhood because you guys really wanted him there you idiot donkey, it wasn't my idea. i said we should put creature's slot in there to sort him. Stop conspiracy theorizing because I want to be optimal. If I had a proposal right now this is what I'd suggest:

N2 BP - apthet
Captain - AP
Chronomage - Hidden Happiness
Doublevoter - Bingle
Neighbor - Gamma
Day 3 Post restricted - momo
Psychologist - pops
Revisor - cheekyteeky
N3 Compulsive Role Caller - Dunnstral
Tracker - pisskop
Treestump - Creature
Lynch - LUV

You'd like this AP because it would let you order me around  I liked the DV idea but when i said that to Maria she exclaimed 'what does that even do WE DON'T VOTE FOR PEOPLE IN THIS GAME'

Day 3 post restricted for momo seems like a bad fit, his drop in activity is what has made it a lot, lot harder to be confident about his slot

That's a valid argument. On the other hand if it had been handed to scum we won't know who got it.
