Honestly I wasn't even thinking about that when I posted it. Just considering the possibilities.
I don't have strong townreads on them, I have moderate townreads on them, and I have a little smaller townread on L6 plus G6 and L8 vouching heavily for her.In post 2549, Lady 1 wrote:Why did you ultimately go with L6 despite having L5 and L2 available and having strong town reads on those two?
It's not taking my ball and going home, it's going home and leaving everyone else their ball if I no longer play a game which is perfectly reasonable and you're one of the slots who thinks that L8 is scum over your partner so I'm not sure why you'd be complaining about it?In post 2500, Lady 4 wrote:What is this going to accomplish? You're acting like a child taking your ball and going home because everyone *might* not do what you want exactly when you want it.
It's what G5 and L5 and L3 have been doing for several pages. Please don’t yell at me, but I haven’t noticed anyone basically saying your reads suck because l8 is scum or at least I haven’t interpreted it that way. But if that’s happening, and please not today do it when dance starts, point out to me where that is happening and I will try to understand where you’re coming from. Make another post to me like you did in 2422, and I won’t try anymore. Maybe you don’t care or want me as a soundboard and that’s fine. I can’t promise to agree, but I will listen and try to understand, but my patience in how I’m talked to is not infinite.
Yes, this is what's happening. I can't be lynched or pushed on to silence me, but if they call my partner L8 scum they get to silence me without having to actually address my case on G5 or argue that I'm scum.If I am dead by morning, I would be wary of people going after a weaker player to actually get rid of their stronger partner. I would imagine that is the work around the no night kill.
If you dont want to play, replace out.In post 2555, Gentleman 6 wrote:It's not taking my ball and going home, it's going home and leaving everyone else their ball if I no longer play a game which is perfectly reasonable and you're one of the slots who thinks that L8 is scum over your partner so I'm not sure why you'd be complaining about it?
Is this at me?In post 2554, Lady 1 wrote:Why did you assume that a G3-L2 would live for a long time and not get jettisoned at intermission?
It's a pro-teamwork mentality. Certainly something a lot of people here aren't familiar with.In post 2552, Lady 1 wrote:I think that is a pro-scum mentality reason to choose someone.
They scum read you @Gent 8In post 2535, Gentleman 5 wrote:Are you aware that if you are town, you are playing recklessly and against town wincon? In post 2533, Gentleman 8 wrote:I take it that my apparent partner, Lady 5, is much suspected by the lot of you. Excellent. If my own assessment of her dancing ability is in accord, I shall leave with her and thus relieve you all of her presence, and relieve myself of your dubious company.
I think it's human nature in this situation. In post 2524, Lady 7 wrote:I THOUght out were townreading l2, and now it reads like you’re positioning to call her scum to save yourself.

Plenty of people were townreading L2, though. In post 2562, Gentleman 3 wrote:It's a pro-teamwork mentality. Certainly something a lot of people here aren't familiar with.In post 2552, Lady 1 wrote:I think that is a pro-scum mentality reason to choose someone.
As I said, I’m not scumreading L2, but the decision does in crease L2 scum equity. In post 2565, Gentleman 6 wrote:I think it's human nature in this situation. In post 2524, Lady 7 wrote:I THOUght out were townreading l2, and now it reads like you’re positioning to call her scum to save yourself.
A variety of reasons. The simplest being that I am never NK'd, but even if I were to be, I don't think me or L2 is as widely townread as L9, G6, or L8.In post 2566, Lady 1 wrote:Yes.In post 2561, Gentleman 3 wrote:Is this at me?In post 2554, Lady 1 wrote:Why did you assume that a G3-L2 would live for a long time and not get jettisoned at intermission?
She did express approval of the pairing iirc though? So the question's still valid. In post 2569, Gentleman 6 wrote:She literally pre-accepted. What an amazing thing to shade someone over.
Is scumposting synonymous with creating conversation these days?In post 2570, Gentleman 5 wrote:Eh im just creating conversation, dont mind me.
