@Ank
While I am honored you think I'm a capable scum player
and I think it is funny every time someone I respect for their mafia game reads me as possible scum
look into my eyes
and know that I am town
beyond the shadow of a doubt
is my motivation for this game at like... 30% rn? Yes, because other people are solving and there's a couple days 'til day end, and rarely will wagons that happen at beginning of day result in a lynch.
however
i'm not scum
my scum game is terrible
i can remember like two games i've ever rolled scum and both of them i was lynched day 1 (iirc)
you should locktown me because it's bad for you not to do that

i feel like every time i want to prove a point
i just happen to get a page top
and that makes me feel important
ank even if you thought for some reason that i'm scum
you should wait until the kills come in
and only suspect me if i'm not one of them
like
even if i was even somewhat capable as scum
i would drop hints and clues that i was scum so that i wouldn't end up in a situation where people are always scum reading me when i'm town

my point is
you have way too much respect for my scum game if you think i'm scum this game

i feel like i became a better mafia player when i stopped using capital letters punctuation and full sentences
which is really funny because i only started doing it as a mockery of the players on site who do it
and because i thought it was funny

I wonder what would happen if I went back to wall posting.

Alright
Talk to me about your vedith read and how it happened
The majority of the reason I'm not locktowning you atm is that specific exchange I listed earlier followed by you immediately transitioning your tone to lockscumming vedith
Even if there's other stuff in your ISO that I am struggling to see you being able to convincingly fool me on, that specific moment is the type of play I can see a chaotic player making as a scum that doesn't know how to properly push a slot without an obvious starting point

I'd probably be scumread again because people wouldn't read what I posted and they'd think that the fact that I took the time to hit the "Shift" key as well as all those annoying punctuation keys would show that I also put the time in to think about what I was saying, hence, I am hiding something. Which is ridiculous because if you ever read anything I have ever written, you can probably tell that I very rarely put even the slightest hint of thought into things before I say them (or write them, in this scenario).

I think the other reason people started actually reading what I was writing was because I abolished paragaraphs.
On a completely unrelated note, here's my explanation:
Town was happy and working together.
I wasn't happy because town was happy.
I believed we'd been infiltrated.
I looked through everyone's reads lists and found a player that everyone said was town even though he hadn't done anything particularly AI and was somewhat lurky at the time.
Of all of the town reads on everyone's lists, this was the most likely slot to be scum among them.
I decided to push Vedith just to see where it lead me.
Vedith didn't respond to me.

Okay now we're on the same page

Your first phrase makes me doubt your second phrase and now I'm confused. I would ask you a question to clear up the confusion, but I'm not quite sure what I'm confused about, so I'd like you to ask me a question to clear up the confusion.
I think people often give wagons a lot more credit than they're due. I think anyone who legitimately has played enough mafia to understand what's going on knows that most day 1 wagons are just people trying to read other people, show support for the lynch of other people, or scum trying to get some distance in (depending on the scum, there are more advanced strategies that can be put into place, but I don't have enough respect for many players to believe they'd legitimately try some of them). I think the only wagons that really mean anything are the wagon and subsequent counter-wagon right before deadline.
I think I have more thoughts on the subject, but while I have thoughts on where you're trying to go with this question, none of them are complete enough for me to get in a guess that I feel comfortable with, so if you want more, feel free to ask.

I thought that you were angling to set up a deathtunnel on Vedith, Enter
But that thought process makes sense with you having roughly the trajectory that you did if the scumread was long lasting before that
I'm asking you about the wagons because a lot of the players I've been townreading through this have been the slots that haven't been on the wagons while the sketchy ones have
I'm not really sure what to make of it atm since its a giant associative mess that I'm struggling to parse

I understand now. Cool. Now that we're on the same page, let's lynch scum.
I'll go reread the thread and re-sort my reads later tonight (which I realize is early morning for the rest of the world) and then let's talk tomorrow?

Sure
I'll probably be reading through more of the thread tomorrow so I'll probably be doing that at the same time

In post 2537, Dannflor wrote:First thought on seeing that no one died was that scum would try to frame Prince as mafia, even if just to discredit his reads (since that's probably more powerful than flipping him and having everyone sheep his reads postmortem). Alisae backing off so quickly reads more like overzealous town though. I'll sheep Prince on his read in this slot for now, because I'm not entirely sure how to read it.
Going after Jingle out of all of Shoshin's reads is odd, and I think he's town. However, as long as we're on the sheeping Shoshin's reads train, DDL is also town.
Lycan (which is Ankamius btw guys we have replacements) and Clemency are both fine lynches, I think mcqueen is scummier than Clemency though. And Ank/Lycan is worse than mcqueen.
Ank, I need you to start posting something of substance because your catch-up questioning mode looks extremely empty. It's fine if you need to catch up but your ISO is godawful and the definition of "trying to look solvey." What are your reads? Are you still thinking Jingle/Alisae has high scum equity? Because those are the only real thoughts on the game I can find from you and I think you should have some more input by now, whether you're fully caught up or not.
VOTE: Ankamius
pedit: DDL's attitude last few pages reads tonally town to me
How and why would it make sense to frame someone as scum by no killing exactly? Not understanding the flow of logic or how no death would be a frame attempt given the setup.

Well if this doesn't scream "trust me trust me trust me" in overt way that gives me caution, I don't know what else would.
