Bigger endorsement today, though.

you were the only one who hadn't expressed their surprise at it other than ceph

But no, I have nothing to do with the scores.

Cephrir said he had knowledge D1 before reneging. I think that's the only player who ever expressed knowledge.

Night action errors are more common when faked probably. His reaction does remind me of times when I err as town, though.

I speculated about this, but yesterday the scores endorsed Cabdwagon and clearly didn't know anything, so.

Uhm, they didn't really specify anything, just like they didn't do anything day 1. It would be pretty ridiculous to be able to follow the scores for everyone and just win the game by that. I could see it for one player though and the scores ARE doing shit right now

I have a feeling that the scores are not a red herring but that they also aren't just a simple town/scum division.

I expressed surprise at Shos's vote like 3-4 pages before you.

They gave points to everyone on Cabd's wagon and removed points from everyone on other wagons. People noticed because the points suddenly had a clear pattern. Cephrir noticed it first and made a few posts about it. This was also when I started thinking about what the source could be if it's not random.

He reneged. He doesn't know.

It may be that scum can use it and he considered expressing knowledge of it early, then changed his mind later for some reason. This becomes nullified if we ever learn that a certain town player can control it, which seems less and less likely.

The above is assuming Cephrir-scum.*

Already found it. Not that interesting, considering shos also got points but was not on the wagon.

Here's the post where points were allocated as described. It should be just after that.

Pedit: Yeah, though Shos was on his own wagon.

If nothing else, the most recent point thing suggests that the actual values added and removed probably don't mean much. If they can add a million points to someone, adding single points is probably pretty cheap. Unless there's a one-shot ability or something.

Yesterday when I was driving around it occurred to me that scum could be "Bastard Mod Mafia" and have control over it (like, Mod Error vs. Actually Deliberately Making "Errors").

Probably not relevant really. Added mainly in case it affects ability to read me, since a few people are getting frustrated and expressing suspicion of me.

Regarding GreyICE, one issue is that I don't see LLD raging everywhere if she's basically a relativey reliable Cop after reroll.

why not?

Who the fuck doesn't like being a Cop? Further, mild, non-critical suspicion on her slot in that circumstance would be more like a self-pat on the back than a cause for replacing out. Though for that matter it did take her a very long time to finally replace out, so there's that.

I have not glanced over her posts again to evaluate.

Because she would relish that role as a chance to roll the scum and be "the best"

Also I don't agree that the points are coming from scum. There's like no evidence of that

Ugh I kinda wanna lynch Iece

I wish GreyICE had included crumbs in his replace-in, though there's no guarantee he would've known about them really.

LLD's first post is a potential one, so.

There's no evidence of anything, other than that the points are non-random.

At best the point-givers are probably not any more knowledgeable than us, because of what happened with Cabdwagon yesterday. If they did have an investigative thing (cf., what could motivate the silly point distribution right now), it seems weird to have delayed it to this point.

They also seem to update pretty randomly and arbitrarily.

Whoever it is deserves a blowjob though for giving me 1mil points

There might be random fluctuations on top of the non-random ones, but there are definitely non-random ones. Giving you 1 million points is the most obvious example.

I guess there could be a deal where random.org is being used by Magua and the "1 million point event" occurs if it lands on "99" or something. So it could still be random if the intentional-seeming things are pre-designed and then occur randomly.
