Clemency there was a D1 schema where town agreed eyes should be investigated and the cop should come forward if the result is guilty and stay mum if the result is innocent.

The game is messy enough that it's not particularly guaranteed that the cop behaved well. But it does make Eyes not an amazing EV lynch.
