Why are people saying shelly's claim is town?
She could literally be telling the complete truth about her role and still be scum

This is accurate, plus follower is a weak role.

I mean who gets her claim result anyway? It's a claim set up to give nothing.

What does follower do again?

Learns what action someone takes on a given night.

@mod is scum factionally multitasking? Can they perform a role ability and a factional nightkill in the same night?

I'm assuming the answer is yes but given the scum are split over 2 streams her role maybe is a bit stronger than I initially took it as.
Pedit: hmmmmmm

From now on please PM me your mechanical questions rather than ask them in thread.

Like they have to be right, otherwise 4:2 splits would be a joke

Like it's a weak role on day 5 but a strong role around day 3 and then becomes strong again on day 6 when numbers start getting real low
Actually how weird is her role once threads resume? I feel like she has to be omitting part of her role because it doesn't make sense for when the timestreams resume
But then again I don't get how any of the 'only in one timestream' roles work, but for watcher I guess I would think the timestream gating would just go away, but how would random messaging across timestreams work on day 5

You lost me when you starting talking about Day X.

I think shellys claim could be scum too Spiffeh. We can talk it out more later once dunn gets in and nacho gets back.

Oh, nevermind. I understand now.

You mean it gets weak once threads merge and there are a ton of players again.

I don't see how it's any different from any other role that has to target someone, though.

I have something similar in my PM. The response is implied what happens when they merge (it'll be called a timestream most likely).

Yeah, although it won't be that bloated because 4 deaths per day night cycle means 16 people are typically dead by the recombine, leaving a 10 player thread I think?

What do people think of shelly by play?

True but here it's like, on day 3 had we had hit 2 scum in one thread then she acts like a copish? (~50%) in that thread if there are night kills. Like it's a 'win more' role for town I guess?

I don't like that she dipped so fast last night but I don't know it certainly makes her scum
