bork I'm a little weirded out by wagons right now, but I'm not sure there are shenanigans going on. :/

fonz, why are you worried about my f-16 read and not my cutty read? My reasons are Tammy-meta mostly and initially had to do with the way she and bork tangled on day 1. both of them appear to be seeing the game very similarly to how it looks to me at this point.

I never beat my wife.

(Or, to be less facetious, I am? I was talking to F-16 about the things F-16 specifically said).

you on the other hand are not seeing the game from a similar perspective. which i'm not viewing as scummy, but does make it more difficult to grasp the mindset. but, certainly not impossible.

i feel like you expect me to develop a strong town read in our first game out and i wonder if this is something you usually experience with players who don't know you.

No and yes. I do experience it often. I'm the kind of player who hardly ever lives past day three as town. I'm not expecting it in this game, though. I'm more trying to dig into what it is that is specifically town about those two, both because I feel it's possible you might just be trying to keep influential players onside, and because I feel you might have insight from previous games that I don't that could allow me to feel more comfortable town-reading them.

If you read read a double iso of cait sith and deacon blues in the tales of vesperia ga

sorry.

http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=3856

this game. ^^

what i saw in my catch UP WAS NOT A REPRISE OF THAT GAME, BUT LOOKED VERY MUCH TO ME LIKE TWO TOWN PLAYERS WHO HAD THAT GAME EXPERIENCE TRYING NOT TO REPRISE IT AND ALSO TRYING NOT TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS ABOUT EACH OTHERS ALIGNMENT BECAUSE OF IT.

oNE OF BORK'S FIRST QUESTIONS TO ME WHEN i JOINED THE GAME WAS WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT TAMMY AND HE ASKED ME TO DOUBLE ISO THEM.

I HAVE OTHER GAME EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND I WILL NO DOUBT MISREAD THEM AS TOWN WHEN THEY'RE SCUM AT SOME FUTURE POINT. AND I WILL NO DOUBT PRETEND TO BE TOWNREADING THEM WHEN I'M SCUM AT SOME FUTURE POINT.

THAT'S NOT WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE.

SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS. MY KEYBOARD IS FLIPPING OUT

Mara's trajectory on FT day 1, basically. I had to go back and think about it and review an earlier game we played. she tunnels as scum sometimes, but the level of conviction is more talk and less action.

I think this wagon sucks. FUT hasn't even posted yet and the wagon has already dissipated some.

To be clear... "Tales of Vesperia ga" is a game in which hydras called "Cait Sith" and "Deacon Blues" played, presumably which involved you, F-16 and at least one of the heads of Shark in the respective hydras?

Neither of which are arguments against the slot being scum. I think it's broadly unlikely FUT gets entirely caught up this game day. I'm not sure we should give the slot a pass for the next several RL days on that basis.

Though it does mean those who voted on the grounds of "Let's save Nat the bother of replacing" ought to either say they think the slot is scummy ought to unvote.

Unvote
incidentally. I'm kind of unclear where my head is at right now on the relative merits of those in my POI pool. What F16 posted yesterday kinda inclines me toward FUT, I suppose.

f-16 wasn't in the game.

cait sith is a hydra of tammy and malakittens. deacon blues is a hydra of bork and me.

ok, never mind. reading with coffee, I think you mean FUT. I was confused because my "this wagon sucks" statement was about the baboon wagon.

Ah K. I thought you were talking about the FUTwagon, because you mentioned FUT (FUT not having posted doesn't seem like it's in any way relevant to the merits of the Baboon wagon).

they aren't relevant to each other in isolation. It's the timing that worries me.

I've probably been playing with etl too much lately.

the slot has been inactive since the start of day 2. people started voting it for whatever reasons, and I think only two or three people are thinking the slot could be scum whether they've voted it or not.

the slot gets replaced finally and lissa moves her vote. after putting down a weird me-too vote on the slot.

but that's kinda the tip of the iceberg. there's the way the baboon wagon started in the first place, which was a push by a player I don't trust.

etl does vca pre-flip, which I don't really believe in, but I find myself employing it sometimes.

Hey Oka, since you're here, do you not understand why it would have been truly, absurdly, stupidly antitown of me to reveal my flavor in response to csareo's pushing for it? And why that push was bad for town?
