This was pine moaning at me and shiny, because we were driving the conversation during this period. Why didn't pine like what we were saying? Over this period that pine refers to as drivel, shiny has pasch and bulba as scum, while I'm in the process of shitfting from mastin and shiny towards pine, and shiny eventually convinces me that bulba is scum too based on those games he linked.

I dunno, I was simply mocking your idea of scumhunting.

Kinda agree with this assessment of what Shiny and a few others are doing here. It's not really helping the group accomplish anything to just make unfounded assertions. There is no reason to believe anyone when they don't offer reasons.

Interesting that pasch agreed with me about shiny's scumhunting skills. I wasn't impressed at the time because he wasn't explaining where his reads came from in any detail... but he was right about pasch. Maybe he was right about bulba too... pine and pasch seem really keen to slap down shiny. He was onto them, that's why he got NK'd n1.

Noting the two reactions to my Bulba push that I think are telling again. If Bulba is scum like he should, I feel at least one of those is scum with him. Pasche more likely than Pine, because Pine's post came right after my exchange with Bulba and I'm not sure if scum would dare to do that before seeing how town takes it: if town agreed, then Pine would look bad for doing this. Paschendale on the other hand is confident in doing it knowing that Pine has stated this and Kitty has agreed.

I self voted today to put myself at L-1. I figured my lynch was necessary and with me being vanilla, the optimal mislynch. Only a scum lynch is better than my lynch.

DOMO's # 2679 is exactly what I said he'd be trying to do yesterday: Use dead players to push mislynches. He takes multiple posts out of context to do this. The Pine post, for example, was about players spamming the thread and radically increasing the page count. In fact, that was one of the reasons Pine was lynched: For complaining about such things and doing zero scumhunting. A quick look through Pine's ISO will find him solely complaining about how fast the game was moving, while offering little else. It's amazing that a player who is trying to draw a connection between someone not liking a long day and not liking a quickhammer is trying to push someone not liking large page counts as trying to protect a buddy. That seems like a complete opposite and convenient stance. He also ignores the fact that Wisdom later stated that he was never scumreading me, and was instead reaction testing me. DOMO ignores all that, though, and makes Shiny his poster boy for his push, stating that was obviously why Shiny was NK'd, even though simple pattern analysis of the night kills would point toward scum eliminating strong universally townread players. And then he points out that Pine and Pasch were obviously protecting me, even though PN just pointed out a game where I realized when I was down and would have told my scum partners to keep pushing (DOMO admits to reading this game, btw.). So, given that this game had day talk at the time, and I was under a similar amount of pressure, wouldn't it be plausible that as scum I'd tell my partners to not protect me? There was no need to create associatives like that, but DOMO is ignoring all that, and using a dead player, whose reads were constantly in flux, to push his pet mislynch.

That may look overwhelming, but it's pretty straightforward. In each line, the bolded is the player's name the line is analyzing. From left to right, this counts: the number of votes that player has made this game "#v"; the number of dead townies that player voted and the percentage of those votes "#t ##%t"; the number of dead scum that player voted and that percent "#s ##%s"; the players name followed by the number of times that player has been voted for by scum "(#)"; and then every vote that player has made this game in order, listed as who the vote was on and then the post number it occured in.

For the totals on the left, I didn't count consecutive votes against one player or consecutive votes followed by a brief unvote. Those votes are still included on the right, however. The players are listed top to bottom in order of the number of times they have voted.

Interesting things I've noticed from this:
domo votes a lot.
the oft replaced Dr/GiF/ES slot rarely votes and has somehow only voted for still living players.
pine and pasch never once voted each other, despite both being under pressure.
pine and pasch have incredibly high rates of voting the dead townies.
bulba has an

even higher

rate of voting the dead townies.
DS and domo also have fairly high rates of voting the dead townies with fairly low rates of voting the dead scum.
DS, bulba, and the PN slot were never voted by the dead scum.

Overall, there isn't much that's conclusive here, but it moves my perspective a little. I'm even more sure now that I don't want to lynch NM ever and I feel a little better about PN. I'm also a bit more open to a bulba or DS lynch.

Well I can think of two reasons - town cred, and to make you look iffy when pine flips.

That's not necessarily what I think, I'm leaning more in bulba's direction than slap's. But I'm not prepared to clear doubleslap on that alone, I'll need more before I'm comfortable with moving them into the town pile.

I just realized that you already set up the dominos when we weren't paying attention. The arguments haven't been about

he's scum with. You handed us a sure scum lynch in the hopes that we'd hang ourselves. If we don't lynch Pasch, then not only will we likely shoot ourselves in the foot, but then you'll focus on who kept the Pasch lynch from going through. If we do lynch Pasch, you'll then draw paranoia on who wasn't on the wagon, while pursuing those lynches that you have both promised you'd pursue. The only thing I don't get is how you both orchestrated your sudden shifts toward Pasch-scum, since neither of you were scumreading him beforehand.

Looked back, and mastin didn't have kitty as a townread. More towards the bottom. Bulb was his top scumread, so there's that... I am biasing...so tempted to continue tunneling kitty but must not give in. Tunnel as in be hypocritical and say "you're keepinf your options wide open, molding reads at the current time to match game state <PN, DOMO> to <DS, Bulba> etc etc"

I am torn about all the many options, having to balance opinions about 6 other players (well, 5 since one is MIA)

As for tying mastin to pasch for a mislynch, judging by mastin's D1 play he would have been difficult to mislynch D2.

I just remembered while on bulba's ISO page, that I thunk Not Mafia said #279 could be a Bulba-slip with the "wisdom one day you'll learn to scumhunt" or something

So let's have a look at bulba this game and compare to the two linked above. Note that I have not spoiled bulb's role in either of the linked games, and won't until I'm done.

Ok there's a distinct difference between the two games through the opening stages, and that's his activity. I'm assuming this is what you're getting at shiny. Chain of Command, he's driving the conversation enthusiastically from the off. Playing Card, he makes his intro post then disappears. I'm gonna say based on scanning his ISO in these games that he's town in CoC, while PC he's scum, and if that's the case then my lean on him this game might shift in the direction of scummy.
