Yeah, I'm saying I think both of those are unlikely to net two scum, so I kind of want to either lynch one of Creature/AP or lynch momo, and then have the other lynch be someone who is scummy outside of that whole mess, because if we hit scum with the lynch then it doesn't help to have a not partners read on a dead player, which I think is the gist of your statement in the first place.

Yeah, and if they rolestop CT to stop the tracker the FN has to go through.

My only concern is that if CT targets a townread, they're likely to die. If CT targets antitown, they can false dichotomy or claim rolestop.

I think the risk of leaving it unleashed is > the reward here though, because tracker investigation has a chance of netting scum where FN doesn't.

I liked the mechanics talk! Specifically trying to keep active people active and passive people passive is an angle I hadn't thought of but makes huge sense for role dist.

Thinking we'll actually catch two scum together seems a little ambitious from what I remember of MS lynching records

As it stands, if CT gives FN to rolestopped player, she's pretty much autolynched.
If CT gives FN to scum, they can fake being the rolestopped player and she's pretty much autolynched.

If we track CT to someone who claims not to have received something, then necessarily one of the two is lying scum. (CT is a visitor because scum or the target is lying about having received the Friendly notification).
If the track on CT fails, we know that anyone who claims to not have a result from CT is a hard 1v1.

The two potential issues are Scum CT targeting a partner who lies to corroborate or CT's target dying. Both of which are 'solved' by leashing her onto the BP. Scum could use the rolestop to prevent CT's action from going through, but that means that apthet's invention and the psychologist are necessarily successful.



Still, I think the potential for a tracker to catch scum is better than jumping through all of these hoops.

because it's not a doctor. A chrono'd and murdered player can do absolutely nothing but post opinions in thread, and only for one day. That's it. They no longer count towards the town win condition, they no longer use their PRs, and they no longer vote. They cannot even include hard investigative information amongst these opinions they post in thread, because that's blocked.

the chrono is a gimped roleblocker/rolestopper that only works on investigative roles. It can delay the tracker or psychologist until such a point when the tracker or psychologist are dead, and in the case of connecting the shot with a Friendly Neighbor recipient it will result in us outright lynching someone we would have IC'd instead were it not for the chrono role. It's very negative utility therefore I want it on confirmed town, particularly confirmed town that will get shot and bury the role in the ground.

If on more person calls chrono a protective role i'll lose it. No one in this playerlist is good enough at mafia that I respect a day of their opinions over a night of tracking or psychology.

Bingle, you're not making much sense here. Please bring back Jingle!

So, Cheeky targets the BP, and Tracker verifies she did target the BP. BP says they didn't get the message and we lynch one of the BP or CT. They flip Town and we lynch the other one and they also flip Town. What next? Oh! We TOLD THE SCUM BEFOREHAND to ROLESTOP THE BP, so they won't get the FN message.
