Except for this, I have a strong town read on sangres. I don't understand this but I know I don't have a whole picture.
I'm going to suppose you are town, what do you recommend we do here? Last will?

I can't see why scum wouldn't claim here. It makes no sense. Scum could wind up drawing a cc with their fake claim. Or if no one ccs then the mafia gets information. I don't really understand why refusal to claim makes him scum. I can't see a town refusing to claim though either. The play makes no sense at all.

I recommend we try to lynch scum today. OGML targeting us tonight means that at least he's not targeting a few other town players I would be a hell of a lot more concerned about dying night 2. If he survives the night, then hopefully he'll have his reads better sorted befor night 3.

Because they are caught.
They don't know what to claim. They fear they may be counterclaimed. Their fakeclaim may be botched and hasten their lynch. They don't have to take this risk because they will kill OGML tonight or RB him.
They're trying to give some vague PR impression, without ever actually suggesting it - but they don't realize that this is incompatible with OMGL's rifle butt being on their sorry scum temple.

sangres isn't even bothering with fake reads.
When Elli was at L-1, sangres-town would have had to claim instead of "woe-is-me" instead of stalling the hammer and refusing to claim.
Please everyone with a town read on this playerslot - reconsider.

@Sangres, what do you think of Eli and Action Dan? Both town, both scum, one of each?

We'll update reads after Nacho and I talk, whenever that happens. I want to talk to him about Elli. If nothing else the reactions to your push on us should generate some data.

We haven't been reading Action Dan as scum.

Hmm how about your head on Eli? Sugar, Matt, Thor, Amrun and pitoli? Forget Nacho for a bit.

Sugar - town
Matt - probtown
Thor - town
Amrun - town
pitoli - scum
I don't think Nacho will disagree with any of that.

@DGB - just a consideration in the hope you still buy Elli as scum.
1. You think Sangres is scum
2. You think a Vig is going to shoot them.
3. You think the scum team will do something to save Sangres.
4. I presume you think that if he's town the scum team won't bother.
This seems to be a self correcting problem or a lynch discussion for tomorrow, yeah? Because if he's town and scum has protective power, that's a neutral gain to prevent his death for a mislynch tomorrow.
And if he's scum and scum protects him, well, then we can lynch him tomorrow when it actually looks suspect.
Yeah?

Re elli, I'm totally depending on Nacho's experience with him. And given the basis for Nacho's scum read, I can see it possibly changing on the basis of his posts tonight. Thing is, he probably knows what Nacho would look for from town-elli at this point, though, so delivering it isn't exactly a slam-dunk read change.

Interesting. Why does Amrun look town and pitoli look scum to your head?

In the game I played with Amrun as scum, she was hedgy and opportunistic. I'm not seeing that in this game. pitoli's early day 2 posts and her reads list looked terrible. My experience with pitoli as a town player is that she's decisive and pretty paranoid. In her interactions with sugar cain I saw nothing at all like the way she's interacted with me when she's been town. It was a pretty passive looking exchange from her side.

I don't think Nacho will disagree with any of that.
Can you explain to me the towny things I've done? Then afterwards tell me why those towny things don't constitute me being a conftown read.
This is a serious request.

Your veiled vig gambit mostly, but also your other interactions especially with both heads of No Brains. I read your temperish interactions correctly in Rapture. It may have been naivety/total lack of experience with your scum game, but I was reading you town in all of that when players who knew you better (and maybe knew you could do that as scum just as well) were not convinced.
So, I'm calling it "prob" because I do lack direct experience with you playing scum in a game.

Why are people not focusing on sangres's claim

Totally shoots down that theory that we were off furiously working up some super-duper fake claim. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out why I wasn't trying to move the kill off us.

Because it's a VT claim and the wagon on him is derpy?
