tft is vastly different from real league :> it’s an 8 player ffa autochess/strategy game and not a moba

Yeah that’s hella brokenIn post 2672, Ydrasse wrote:which the mafia team used rather smartly
tictac was accelerating the night kill to the day and enchant was doubling the kill so that it killed twice, functionally being a strongman
To be fair 3 shot BP is hella broken for town.In post 2712, Gamma Emerald wrote:Yeah that’s hella brokenIn post 2672, Ydrasse wrote:which the mafia team used rather smartly

I also had a kill immunity I was holding onto from NDMath’s roleIn post 2675, MathBlade wrote:That was smart! In post 2672, Ydrasse wrote:which the mafia team used rather smartly

So I was right on half of it!
It was a strongman day kill.
I think Marci and Gamma being here today though kinda sealed Enchant’s fate though as if we elim one the other kills Enchant.
So I am guessing by his concession that Enchant would just lose in that scenario.
I was debating elimming Gamma to avoid being duped and Marci shoot Enchant but wasn’t sure if that would auto because nebulous answer.
Can we get a list of the entire town/scum teams?
Oh it was used up lmaoIn post 2684, Ydrasse wrote:i think it was winnable if the nk on gamma went through (he was protected by ndmath’s ability) or if math died

Town leans:
Fred, Dunn, Mala, Gamma, Toogle, Meerkat,
Null/scum: rest
All the following reads have an approximate p-value of 95% in my estimate.
Town
Gamma Emerald
NDMath
Malakittens
Titus
Scum
Vivax
The leftover reads have a p-value of 100%. This means it is no different than what is expected by chance. Which means they are all null.

I have a feeling I'm using p-values incorrectly in some way that a statistician may be able to tell me.
I think this drew you a lot of negative attention which ultimately lead to players being more willing to BW later. I normally don't mind math discussions and even enjoy them in some cases, but even I was a little annoyed at best and suspicious at worst here because it seemed potentially designed to distract or disrupt the thread and I couldn't tell what you were getting at in the first place. In post 479, Fredrick A Campbell wrote:The nature of alignments as data points is such that it isn't even continuous, causing it to be neither. In post 477, Vivax wrote:The cutoff is 97.5 for unimodal curves, 95 for bimodalIn post 470, Fredrick A Campbell wrote:Just starting to townread mastina with a p-value of 95%.

Are you measuring two spectrums or one?
I don't even know if this is a game of mafia anymore lmao
The idea I was trying to get at is that my confidence in all those reads are at 5%.
The statistical idea I was trying to get at is apparently so poorly thought out that my attempts to verbalise it makes me realise it's statistical nonsense.

"Since the precise meaning of p-value is hard to grasp, misuse is widespread..."
I ended up not running my script on any results this game, but I could eyeball a few of the facets to get an idea. If NDMath is telling the truth then they're likely to be targeted as a suspect because of their temperament. Being reluctant to draw attention to themselves, unlikely to react impulsively and preferring to think analytically about their reads can easily appear like scum trying to fly under-the-radar. I thought NDMath was lying about their temperament and eventually realized it was unlikely.
