Either Morning Tweet both discovered a way for there to be a mechanically confirmable tpr that by claiming day 1 would give scum an advantatage and then decided that she would use it in a game of mafia or battle mage is lying.
I believe that this situation calls for occam's razor.

Erm, it's basically the former, yes. I'm baffled that you think that's unlikely. Morning Tweet is an experienced player, and you don't have to be that experienced to know there are several roles which fit that bill.
