I don't see the point in lynching Chimera until there's an actual reason to think one of the masons are scum. I agree that it's not a reason to call them town, but it's certainly not a reason to call either or both of them scum. If Chimera is scum, then, by all means, we should lynch him, but not just because he possesses a certain role ... in THIS game.

I would like to know why he voted ML, though.

How about the fact that this is worst roles mafia and there's no point for masons unless there's something terrible about them. I'm guessing that the terrible part is that they're confirmed town to each other when one or both is actually scum.

@Mod: I didn't know (or possibly remember?) he had deadthread access. It was just confusing me when I read through. Especially if BB can recruit. In this game for all we know his presence is actually part of the game and we have to lynch him too. In a game like this added confusion is bad.

It still wouldn't be a scumslip either way. I said the roles "seem to" correspond with the flip. We have no idea if 2birds was town or scum FIRST, but he FLIPPED Survivor, which was in the traditional yellow.

No. Simply being in a bastard game and having a post restriction does not make a mason a "worst role". There has to be something about each and every role that makes it a terrible role.

Could they be some other kind of mason that doesn't work? I...guess, but what IS a mason? It's an ALIGNMENT CONFIRMED private talking partner. Therefore, the only ways to make it terrible are the alignment and the talking. They haven't mentioned anything being weird about their talking in the QT, so there's something different about the alignment.

It's setup speculation. I love doing setup speculation, but I've learned the hard way that basing lynches off of them isn't always in town's interest.

I don't take Chimera's word for it that he really has that voting thing, but it's a fair point that the mason part could be to throw us off. I just think that would be really random, for the mason pairing to have nothing to do with the worst roles part of the game.

I'm not seeing your role as a "Worst" one. What makes it bad?

1. I haven't thought he was completely scum, rather half and half. If he were town (reveal say he is, who knows) then he'd have no reason to lie, and I wanted to make sure I had all the information I had on him before I decided to kill him.
2. If the role is thought about in a wider context (unlimited cosmic power) that the abuse of it could be tremendously bad. And you're forgetting that it's not a simple dayvig (although I used it right now in that way) but rather a modkill (aka that person forfeits winning the game; modkills are inherently bad). Essentially it's not bad for me (there is no other part to my role other than my power, town win con is standard), but very bad for pretty much everyone else.

I'm sick and tired of people thinking I'm scum because I don't know how to start the game. If I unvote, I'm called scum, if I vote someone else, I'm called scum, if I leave my vote, I'm called scum. I can't win for losing

Some day, someone will tell me what I should do in early game to not look scummy. And then I'll do that, and I'll be called scum for it... (For more on this, see my comment to Gimmicky Alt)

So yeah, to our two masons: do you have any other parts to your role other than being masons? The only way I could see it being a 'worst role' is secondary conditions or by the fact that they were 'mod confirmed town to each other' that one of them is scum.

I have been told I have some skill as a poet. As a songwriter, I have won two little-known national awards jointly. I like the idea of a rhyming PR. Anyway, now I'm done bragging: to make your posts less jarring, stick to a format. I usually use 11 syllable lines, broken up as 3-3-3-2, but as long as it's consistent, it should work.
From the common roles list:

• Goon Boon (benefit), Tune (As in singing a different)
  
• Blocker Mocker-y (That's a tough one)
  
• Father Rather, lather (as in, keeping him clean?)
  
• Cop Mop (As in, mop up kills?)
  
• Doc Mock-ery, lock, clock, block
  
• Vig How do you pronounce it... or more importantly, how does the mod pronounce it...
  
• Killer Thriller, Miller, Filler

Any roles that can mess with Post restrictions, while you probably have higher priorities, shifting Molla's to me would help a decent logician communicate and hinder me, an incompetent newbie, less.
