Have I answered the questions you have asked me? I don't remember if I have
But this is an intent to hammer. Now will you claim?
This. The intent to hammer was made on May 23rd. Day ended on the 27th, vijay did not hammer. Wait... just saw he was already on the wagon... WTF? Okay, intent to hammer was izak. Still, the fact that he just left his vote on the xaxle wagon with his intent. I sense scum holding back. They would want the mislynch, but not want to seem to quick about it.

I don't think I asked you anything directly, GNR, just stated that you should be making reads. This is a start. You only have three suspects though, and in this game that would mean you believe you've caught all three scum? Your reasons for dismissing everyone else are pretty weak. 'Seems to be scumhunting' 'feels okay'. Can you explain your reads with actual quotes from people? It helps to understand how you're thinking.
Also you're implying 2/3 of the scum team aren't posting. I doubt the entire scum forces are /care.
Tierce have you considered liberal application of this blowtorch attached to this cattle prod?
From what post from GNR did you get this impression from?
This one, where he says on page 6 he's incapable of applying any type of pressure:
No, but on page 6, I don't see anything to build a case on someone to pressure them
This is pretty far from him coming right out and saying he has no intention of helping the town.
↑vijay2vasandani wrote:@ Scotmany: depends on who you ask. What's wrong with my vote on Shadoweh?
I don't like the opportunistic nature of it, and your reasoning is a pretty big reach.
↑Shadoweh wrote:Scot: Because I forgot he was playing. Which sounds like a reason to look him back over, but at this point I suspect him of being a flake more then scum. You on the other hand seem more purposely barely there.
I have a hard time believing that you forgot chimera was playing when you wanted him lynched yesterday. Unless you forgot you had your vote on him for latter part of the day yesterday.
I am not understanding GNR's vote at all.

He didn't stick in my mind. Your posts bother me more then whatever he wrote that bothered me at the time. At this moment I think it's impossible to collectively judge things until there are actually 8 players in this game.

Every time I try to look at this game, I just get this numb feeling in my mind and the re-read doesn't wind up happening. Hoping some new blood will breathe some life into this wasteland of a game.
At work now, so I'll just respond to GNR: I opened D2 voting you because your D1 play looked passive in that "I don't really want to attract any attention" kind of way. You looked like someone who was setting up for the long haul, not wanting to attract enough attention early to warrant a lynch or a kill.

Okay, let's do this.
Spoiler: Vijay2Vasandani
Vijay started off fairly townish, or at least not overtly scummy. Then it came to this:
↑Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:We don't need a claim; lynches aren't no-reveal.
?? No claim? That's almost asking for a mislynch on a power role.
VOTE: CES
Lol really?
And sorry I can't keep up with your standards saulres.
This is not good. While you tried to backtrack on it later, there is still the whole issue that lynching without a claim, especially day 1, is a great way to lose a power role. It doesn't matter whether the flips are there, it's still losing a PR. I'm with GNR here.
And the unexplained vote vanishes into thin air. On this little exchange, I'm more confused than I am suspicious, but there is still suspicion there.
Overall, Vijay started well, but his play and town prospects have both degraded over time...
↑Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:We don't need a claim; lynches aren't no-reveal.
?? No claim? That's almost asking for a mislynch on a power role.

Then suddenly, this. Good job on calling it out, although you have taken it a little way down the slippery slope. I am, as mentioned earlier, in agreement with the sentiment here.

Not a bad wall of reads either, and demonstrating that he's wrking through the game and actively trying to catch scum says townish to me. Unsure of where to stand, overall, but I reckon that GNR is leaning town, in spite of 94.
Spoiler: Mortontfrh
↑Mortontfrh wrote:I'm not a fan of how quickly Xalxe was put at L-1, especially without any mention of it.
Why would you assume it was sarcastic when you knew it was an L-1 vote?
Because we're on page 2, and it's far to early to actually be asking for a serious claim.
Do you have something against Xalxe dying here?
Absolutely. I don't think I would be comfortable with anyone ever dying this early in the game. Some of the players in this game haven't even made a post outside of the RVS stage.
Also your post right after goes from suspecting to pleasantly chatting with your suspect like you're at a tea party
You're saying that I can't suspect someone while trying to be nice to them? I try to be as nice as possible, and Fritzer felt like I was being an asshole which isn't something that I am comfortable being perceived as. Are you saying it's scummy for me to try to be nice?
I'm liking the entire exchange with Fritz, but this post particularly shows that he's being open. Openness is good.
↑Guy_Named_Riggs wrote:I see where its coming from when you put it that way, but I'm not putting the wagon at L-1 this early in the day. Too much information will be wasted.
If you're not going to put him at L-1, and you're not going to bother putting pressure on anyone else what exactly are you planning on doing this game?
Are you just going to sit around twiddling your thumbs until someone else puts him at L-1 or are you waiting until someone else provides a reasonable wagon for you to sheep on?
No, but on page 6, I don't see anything to build a case on someone to pressure them
Christ what do you think would happen if everyone had this same mentality?
GNR is probably town; I don't think scum would outright say they have no intentions of scumhunting.
I think Fritzler is still suspicious, especially given how defensive he got with just a tiny bit of pressure however Izak is a much more immediate concern.
Vote: Izakthegoomba
This is an L-1 vote, btw.
This makes a good point on GNR. Confused town does look like the best explanation. Continued suspicion of fritzler is still justified.
↑Mortontfrh wrote:No, it's really not considering that vote was placed at the start of page 2 where asking for claims isn't normal behavior.
I assumed he was being sarcastic with his request for him to claim, I didn't view it as a "I'm announcing that you're at L-1 by saying that I want you hammered".
Ummmm...it is pretty obvious that I knew I was L-1 when I told him to claim. You claim at L-1 and then you get lynched and die. That is pretty much the pretty triple truth. I am sorry that you don't understand subtext, and I will never try to read Wilde with you.
P.S. Wilde is a homosexual FYI.
This is even worse.
↑Fritzler wrote:Also, why are you such a total asshole?
FOS
Bad.
↑Fritzler wrote:Hey guys. I am back from V/LA. What is up?
And nothing posted since. Not in the slightest bit good.
Fritzler is looking horribly scummy, especially off the back of the morton exchange. I only quoted the highlights, but, still, not good at all.
↑Guy_Named_Riggs wrote:I don't understand what the big deal over post 70 is. Is it really that bad to quicklynch him?
It really is. As glork said, it accomplished nothing. And his vote on fritz is one of the worst I have seen in a long time. Not only is hypocrisy not a scumtell, but voting someone for being hypocritical about being an asshole is quite ludicrous.
These two are good for the same reasons as Morton's posts on the same subject.
↑scotmany12 wrote:The "Glork hasn't died N1" isn't viable anymore. He's correct when he says it is no longer a site meta.
↑Mortontfrh wrote:I still stand by my statement that I don't think GNR is scum; scum don't just come out and say they have no intention of helping the town. That's just dumb town behavior, not scum behavior.
From what post from GNR did you get this impression from?
Shadoweh, why did you choose to vote me of chimera, who you were pretty adamant about wanting dead yesterday?
I'm not liking vijay atm. He's posting a lot, but I'm seeing very little substance in his posts. I see maybe two to three posts out of his 24 that have some worthwhile content in them. I'm not sure if this is normal for him or not. If if is please say so. But right now he seems to be just floating a on, and i'm not liking his vote on shadow at all.
Vote: vijay2vasandani
GNR also needs to start getting some content out there, as well as chimera.

↑Shadoweh wrote:Well it depends on how you define anti-town. In my experience letting yourself get lynched because you're too stubborn to claim is anti-town. People have a habit of doing it anyways though.
Lesse. Glork CES Fritzer Mortonfth townie. Despite the hate they're getting I see Xalxe and Izak as town as well. I have no idea what to do with vijay, it seems like he's just like this? If someone above can tell me why he's X it would be appreciated. I dislike Chimera's posts and I can't remember anything scotmany has said despite reading that he is in fact playing. The other two are nullish void. I don't supose people could work a lynch in these directions instead of people who've been squealing alot? This is how it starts:

Active hunting. As mentioned earlier, I like active hunting, and acting on gut reads is a good way to get things moving. Even if it is against my slot...

Non-Groupscum-slip. According to post 2, there are 2 goons, so two thirds of the scum team would be a misnomer.
Overall, there's not an enormous amount to go on, but shadoweh looks reasonably town.
↑izakthegoomba wrote:No. We have plenty of time. You hammering me would be just as bad as Fritz doing it. If I'm a PR, I'll be blowing the game apart by claiming now.
And if you get hammered for refusing to claim and flip a power role, how does that "blow the game apart" any less?
That said, the fact that you've failed to think this through basically tells us that you're VT or scum. Unfortunately, I'm leaning VT at the moment.

Vote: Xalxe
Could I have a little explanation here? You say Xalxe is probably town, then proceed to vote him. That seems counter-intuitive.
↑Glork wrote:How did I fail to give appropriate context? You said you're not find of going to night without somebody, but you

Either you think Fritz has an above-average chance of being the SK, in which case you really ought to explain why you think that, and why you're hunting specifically for the SK...

Please. Feel free to give "full context" and explain exactly what you were hoping to accomplish with the possible-SK comment, because I'm not finding the protown motivation for it.
I still don't like unexplained votes. That's less good.
Overall, glork is townish. Active scumhunting+Activity and lots of content says that to me.
That took far longer than it should've. My scumreads at the minute are Vijay and

I said that izak (the person I was responding to) is probably town, and moved my vote from izak to Xalxe. I thought that was pretty clear.
The things you don't like about Fritz are more general characteristics of him as a player (he uses mild antagonization as a scumhunting device, and usually doesn't go too far with it). I think that seeing what Elmo brings to the table is a good idea.
I will say that I like how Phil has accomplished in one post (a list of detailed reads/commentary) what took GNR 12 pages of gameplay to accomplish. I'm p happy with my vote right now.

@ Phil: I sincerely doubted that CES would let a hammer actually go throught without a claim. He's far more experienced than that imo. I just found that his vote was opportunistic in the sense that it's a terrible reason to vote for CES.
In regards to the unexplained vote, I thought Glork was softclaiming Dietician in the first post of the day.

To be honest I don't know what to make of Fritzler who I replaced his Iso is a mess and the posts Phil quoted I don't much.
Phil the quote of Glork I get is active scumhunting but at the same time why wouldn't he move his vote as well if he think's he's the SK? It raises questions to me. But even then Glork seems to know something that no one else knew.
I would like to hear what Chimara has to say since looking at his posts.
I see Phil replaced him.
Right now I have Glork and CES as high town reads.
Phil your slot, GNR & VJ are my top 3 scum. I don't like what Chimera did and I can't get answers from you for it. Im not holding that against you as of yet but VJ always seems scummy and your "acive scumhunting" is somehting everyone would be doing. Im not sold on VJ as well but Im going to vote VOTE: GNR I don't like his iso
Also why does no one talk about CES in their recaps?
