I like
Stranger Danger
for crypto. It works on multiple levels, and if I wouldn't associate it with an avatar before anything else.

Could you explain- or at least point out- those levels?

#1 his avatar which is not only just his current avatar, but other users have taken his avatar as their own to try and mock him

#2 the phrase "Stranger Danger" invokes an outsider that you're supposed to stay away from, kind of how crypto's presence always seems to rustle the jimmies of certain users in this forum

#3 crypto's own personality/posting style seems to play to this idea of being a pariah/enigma/"stranger"

#4 The Stranger is a novel that is known for its portrayal of absurdism, and if you read through any crypto posts, he seems to always point out absurdist behavior in threads when the opportunity presents itself

I am not opposed to this title.

Thoughts on
Stranger Danger
vs
Stranger
?

It should be Stranger

Crypto is not Dangerous, he's adorable

I think both work on the same levels. Stranger Danger might be a little less blunt though.

You are way better at explaining my ideas than I am. >_>

I definitely would not describe crypto's presence/personality/posting style on this forum as being a stranger, but I might be in a minority in that.

Stranger Danger is leaps and bounds better than just Stranger. I would not be in favor of him just being "Stranger" as that'll be inscrutable in a year or two from now.

Reck struck something: How about just
Pariah
?

Existentialism =/= absurdism, by a loooooong shot.

Get out.

it's an existential novel sure but Camus was one of the big thinkers of absurdism I thought?

I was under the impression that The Stranger was a pretty big piece of absurdist philosophy though I could be mistaken (I read part of it then fell behind and wound up catching up via sparknotes, we had to read the whole damn thing in a week)

anyway, even if the fourth point is wrong from a philosophical perspective I think the rest fits nicely

Ooh yes Stranger Danger.
Danger because people treat him like a menace to society.

#1 that's false
#2 ok
#3 no not really
#4 absurdism is not the same thing as prudeness or racism actually

I don't think Stranger alone makes a good title.
