I jumped on Klick regardless of anything you were saying. right as the nekoko, voodoo lady pair was outed, he immediately said scum. how the hell is that possible?

to me, thats the same as an RVS vote or seeing someone you have played with before and automatically calling them scum. other than that it has no backing.

I wanted an explanation for it, because i never got any of that kind of feeling from the people claiming their partners and confirming. I questioned him to ask how he did.

then he came with his little rationale before my post came up and i understood it better. a little bit skeptical still, but i got his reasoning.

Its not at all like an RVS, he has 10 pages of information about the individuals, and when seeing the pairing he makes a decision. Your RVS logic is really really wierd.

If thats the diffrence then there is no diffrence in the actual message just in the direction of intended recievers.

well, I think it does seem like RVS type thinking. he does have the information, but doesn't say much on nekoko or voodoo lady before the claiming and when the claiming comes out he jumps on them just because of the pairing. to me thats just a really weak reason to think both of them are scum.

however, i like his thinking after i posted and saw his post.

You should have done what I did, asked for reasoning.

And his reasoning was okay, not at all great.

I did ask for it. but i was writing the post and sent it before i knew that he had posted. thats why I quickly had a follow up one.

How can you ask for reasoning and yet claim it was an RVS looking vote?

I'm not exactly thrilled of Klicks reason, though it is a valid one. I might be experiencing some confirmation bias, though I kinda already think we have found our scum team... I do want to hear more from the other pairs before I make a complete decision on who is and isn't town though

uhh. what? i think you are confusing a bit here.

in my first post I asked him what was his reasoning behind saying that Voodoo and nekoko are scum, and I went on saying that I don't understand how he got that and that it felt to me like RVS thinking and i went into that a little bit. I was ASKING FOR HIS REASONING because without it it looked like RVS thinking!

I claimed it was RVS thinking BEFORE I saw his reasoning! and then i took it back because it wasn't just based on nothing.

i think orc is town. if orc comes in and confirms that klick and he are partners, then that would confirm them to be the same alignment. since I believe orc is town and had a null on klick. i'm leaning that the couple would be town.

okay. i'm really confused here. the only circumstances that orc would NOT confirm klick are if they were lying about their partners and two other people were stupid enough to go along with it. and just lie about who their partners were.

however town has no benefit from that so it shouldn't be done.

so the REAL thing is that there is NO circumstances where orc would NOT confirm Klick. they are both the same alignment.

i'm not understanding your intent, because in my opinion that is completely obvious and i would peg you as smarter then the need to ask that. =/

And what sort of scum team would even think of one of them claiming to be lovers with a town player? Where is the profit in that? I think Leviathan is just phrasing things awkwardly. Parsing those sentences hurts my head.

either a town read of orc raises klick to town as well, or a null read of klick makes the whole team suspect. Now that they are out, you can't evaluate them separately.

I was saying that, him reading scum on Orc wouldn't confirm Klick as town, but rather scum since he is suspicious of Orc.

my possibility i think i was entertaining was the fact that they may be the same alignment but even though I have them as town now, they could actually be scum and i'm just not seeing it. thats always a possibility for me.

that being said. for the time being i think they are town.

He had a town read on orc and a null read on klick though.

He did, but he stated that the town read on Orc moved his previous null read on klick to town

they are either the same alignment or klick took a mind boggling risk, a risk so huge that I can't entertain the possibility.

The only question in my mind is their alignment. And on the basis of a strong town read on klick and a middling town read on orc, I'm assuming town barring an earthshaking epiphany of some sort.
